I love this. Not only is the idea of a race fun but it also potentially helps advance the plant community by forcing new competitive ideas. I've been using water bottles at the tops of my moss poles, I never thought about an IV drip for plants!

The sabotage attempts going both ways crack me up. Loving the innovation, too! My pothos on a plank (started with a handicap, it had a few more leaves and was already rooted) is also sizing up in the last two leaves. It’s growing some of those roots that grip the plank but not nearly like the ones that grew in the grooves of your plank!

Man I gotta say, you and Jeff are making pothos growing more entertaining than anyone I have watched😂! Chem trails! 😂 keep it up guys! Cant wait for nx months update.

I was so excited to just get up this morning just to watch this video. It's coming along pretty well.

I used IV drip for my moss poles and figured out that it has a cloth filter inside, near the part with a syringe and it gets clogged pretty fast with normal water, so I had to cut it out. Maybe that`s the reason why yours stops dripping at the slow rate? Also the adjustable wheel can squeeze the tube too much, so you need to move it to other parts of the tube sometimes and reshape the tube to its previous form

Caring more for a pothos than the actual human sprout :P

Just an advice. Forget the I drip. Put the pot in a clear tall plastic storage box/ prop box. Heat mat under it. And close to grow light. Leave some water at the bottom of the box so it creates humidity. Boom winner

Use tape! Just regular old scotch tape. It holds it down tighter and will help the roots to grow into the plank.
