Rotating is good but rotating too early is not. It can cause late releases, bad balance and overall loss of power and accuracy. In this video I show you on way to fix it.

Dude by far the best DG lessons on here. You break down the individual components of the throw so much better than other instructors

Nobody is in the same league. I've been playing for over 2 decades, and I cannot believe how helpful these videos are.
Yes! This is what Yt coaching needs. Nice work J!

@@dgspindoctor ah ok! Those dont show up on my phone. The card works now though!
Never before have I heard the throw explained or seen it demonstrated this well!
I just want to thank you for this and many other videos. You teach in a very meaningful way, I hope I can put this to use. Thanks for all the hard work.
So simple and so practical. Can't wait to hit the field with this drill and knowledge!
Thank you for another video that helped solidify concepts. I have over complicated throwing, this post drill is great. “Follow through before the follow through.” Great sentence.
Yo, this is incredibly high quality.
great way to get the feel, ty
Like your example, i throw the same way, thats why sometimes, it comes out really anhyzer.. ill give this drill some practice and hopefully it helps with my form.
Thank you! I have been playing and practising regularly for 3 months and I recently discovered your videos. I feel like they help me a lot at the moment to get a better form and things begin to "click". This in particular was really helpful for me. I had more or less the same throwing style as in the video, I tried the drill today and then I tried throwing again afterwards and I could definitely already see and feel an improvement.

Wonderful!
Thank you
Thanks again for a great video - you mentioned in an earlier vid, that the throw is "simple", in that most of the mechanics are instinctive for the body and you just have to allow it. One thing i noted, is that the base of it all is the good brace. Id love to see a vid about the brace from you.

Brace is the foundation of everything. If that's not solid, throwing becomes very hard, and you start to focus on all the unnecessary things to fix it.

@@dgspindoctor exactly :) i for one suffer from a hesitence to put all my weight on my brace, leaving some of it on my backfoot, leading to an upper-body dominant throw. Will definitely do the postman drill with an emphasis on the grunded leg to try and get the feel. It could be an even better beato!

Nothing can beat the beato.
underrated!
Thanks for the slow motion! I end up with a high knee every time and I couldn’t figure out how to stop it. I can’t wait to try this drill.

You got this! I admit, it takes a lotnof courage to throw without turning the torso and the head before the disc, but you just have to trust that the target is there and that your release happens perfectly without rotating too early.
Thats the exact problem im working on right now. Been on it a couple of weeks
What’s up brah I just wanna say that I too am a Finn and I too have Sisu and with Irish and Finnish background I will be the number one player in the 60!s division blood
I'm at the point where I can get the upper body right or the lower body right. Now to combine the 2...

Haha, I like it.
Im having some problems with this one, getting some crazy grip locks & sometimes not even able to let go of the disc, is it a problem with my grip? Feels like i have to low speed for the disc to rip out, maybe im gripping too hard, thx.

I think you pull the disc with the shoulder blade. Usually that is the reason.
