I’m feeling older today, Ken’s voice was the first one I heard from the first race I watched on CBS. His description of what was happening and what happened at and on the track was eloquent and respectful to audience and competitors. No one today can compete, only learn from him. Rest in peace my fellow NewEnglander. 🙏🙏
Ken Squire is the best voice from the heyday of nascar.

@@davidrice3337Bob Jenkins was good…but Ken Squire and Barney Hall are the ones that stand out to me.
Godspeed Mr Squier. Thanks for all you did for the sport.
Ken was a legend of epic proportions!! Will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Ken 🙏
Ken seemed like a really nice fellow, and definitely a true race fan to the bone. I spoke to him in the parking lot at after a race, just the two if us and he was very interested in chatting and asked where I was from ( in Canada) , and what kind if local racing we had. He knew off hand the minor racing series we had in the area. He was a race fan, not just at the Cup level, grass roots short track racing on up.
"And I was awful glad to talk to you." What an amazing and powerful outro. Rip Ken 🏁🏁🏁🏁❤️❤️❤️
Rip old friend. I grew up loving NASCAR because of the way he loved NASCAR!!
You can tell how much the young man interviewing ken enjoyed the experience. Very cool
Listened to you all my life. RIP Amigo. You are missed.
Very cool seeing a young man interview Ken Squier. Very professional, prepared interview. RIP to the GOAT.
His voice will be one I’ll always remember.
RIP Mr. Squier a true legend! Thank you for memories.
This man was a big part of my childhood with the nascar thunder games. Without a doubt. R.I.P Big Guy.
So glad that he agreed to do the next level.

Rest in peace to "The Voice of NASCAR"... Thanks for the memories sir...
Such a class act... Sadly, we bid farewell to another true legend.
Ken was genuine .. he brought as much to the sport as anyone else involved, a pioneer and advocate in his own rite. That legendary commentary. Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome story from one of the best in the business. Ken has always been one of the best.
Great person fun to talk with! Very down to earth
What a sweet man.
So many of us wished we had been given the opportunity to sit down with this man and talk about the good ole days. He did live a full and fulfilling life. May he rest in peace
Gone but not forgotten Rest In Peace Ken Squier

Very much enjoyed this! ❤️🏁😎
A Legend has left this earth. Long Live the Squire!! RIP Glad y’all were able to get this interview in before his passing. Time oh time, it’s so hard to understand at times.
Ken, I should have told you before now. Thank you!
Thank you for the video.
RIP Ken Squire ,I remember the 79 Daytona 500. I was fresh out of the Navy , 59 cars ran the duals trying to get to the 500. The old man was a die hard Petty fan so he was happy. The rest of us stared at the 25 inch color tv as the fight took place and Ken Squire narrated the blow by blow action.
He was the best! Young man did great job with interview. He did his his homework.
my first memory from Ken Squier 1997 Daytona 500. "down the back straightaway big trouble Earnhardt OUT. up and over number 3. and for the nineteenth time lady luck deals a bad hand to Earnhardt..."
I always would have liked to hear from Ken why NASCAR left the Northeast the 1st time. Him and Tom Curley were essential in giving them drivers a series to race in with the birth of the ACT
This was so good. Great job Andrew. Dirty Mo!!!
Just buried my dad yesterday. Both in good company. RIP Ken,
Mr. Squire was the pinnacle of auto racing sportscasters. I envy Mr. Kurkland for being able to spend time with Mr. Squire.

Just a special man. Remember, meeting him with my father up in Waterberry in my young years and then seeing him at the race track in Barre Vt. I was standing in the presence of greatness. The best play-by-play announcer that NASCAR ever had.
so sad he isnt doing well
