I’ve been taking it very easy with my channel for the past weeks and trying to focus more on my mental health and trying to figure out a good balance with those things. It’s good to know there are some people out there who will be missing the videos and be happy when I get to post a new one ❤ next video will be another family video too! Even if i take some time with getting it posted 😊

You’re right, we’re often quite stunned at how rich and vivid her imagination already is and we cant even figure out where she gets half the things she comes up with! Just the other day I put a dress on her and she decided (for the first time ever) that now she is a princess and she needs a tiara too and all, while we never ever call her a princess and dont remember ever even showing her any princess related cartoons or such because we specifically avoid giving her that girls are princesses imagery 😅❤

Thanks a lot. I’m trying to get back to my natural colour and initially the colour got quite dark but now it’s quite faded into a lighter brown 😊 but good to hear this was nice too! I had almost black hair for 15 years of my life 😅

Annika understands things better as she grows up. Used to be cranky. Patience is the key I guess.

Yeah it’s pretty great that she’s so comfortable with nature’s creatures, without unnecessary fears or inhibitions like I often am! 😅 and thank you, i’m trying to get my hair colour back to my natural one. It came off quite a bit too dark initially, now it’s already faded quite a lot but this was nice too and I actually had think kind of dark hair for 15 years before coming to India 😊

One of her favourite ”games” is that first we have to fight with her about some item or another and try to claim it for ourselves and in the end she resolves the fight by saying ”we share” 😅❤

I also received such comments when I posted vids and pics about India. I think there's a lot of difference in the standards of animal treatment in the East compared to that in certain parts of Europe. But I also see that in the treatment of children too. I guess acceptance is a very difficult thing as it involves emotion ❤ I hope many people watch your videos so they can see how well you treat Annika. You are a very good example of a mother ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

My home is at the opposite street from the main road. Until about 5 years ago, this beach was only visited by us locals and sometimes by our guests. The change is mesmerising and scary at the same time.

We have tried to visit there, even if just for the play zone and beach, a couple of times other than this, but haven’t been able to as it’s soooo crowded that all the roads there are completely blocked and we’re just stuck there in those sandy narrow paths not able to drive forward, or reverse because the line behind us still gets getting longer and of course not being able to turn around anywhere as the ”roads” dont allow it. It’s too bad, the play zone is the best we’ve found at a reasonable driving distance from our home. But we’re too nervous of that kind of traffic and crowds to even try to drive there anymore 😅 this wasn’t an issue at all on this first visit that we made in this vlog so you cant see it on the video. i can only imagine how it is for you guys who have homes there!

@@JohannaNorth no I don’t have to endure the said traffic. It’s in the opposite non-beach-side from Mattool main road. On the river side. (Mattool is a long stretch with sea on one side and river on the other. The river and sea meet at it’s end making it a little peninsula). I think if you visit on weekdays or non holidays the traffic will be much better. Try reaching around 3 PM and leave by 5.30ish as well. You said our place is at a reasonable drive from where you live. Which is your place? Have you tried the “Kayal Theeram” restaurant? It’s in Mattool itself. You will get good seafood. Go there and try “Chemballi pollicath”. And the restaurant has a decent play area where you kid can enjoy as well.

Ei meillä täällä Keralassa ole ketään, vaikka joo tiedän kyllä Anniinan. Mutta mulla on whatsapp-ryhmä muutaman muun Intiassa asuvan, intialaisen kanssa naimisissa olevan suomalaisen äiti-ihmisen kanssa 😊 olisi kyllä tosin kiva jos asuttaisiin alueella, jossa olisi mahdollista edes joitain muita ei-intialaisia tapailla kasvotusten, mutta olen melko varma että olen ainoa täällä päin 😅

Believe it or not, just yesterday I was thinking..hmm haven't "seen" Annika in a while .. And there she is. In my inbox!! Thanks. I know there are edits but, Up until 2:20 I was beginning to worry.. grandparents.. Just arrived. No rest and no tea 😂 immediately started playing.. Zoos, yeah, always a weird feeling. You manifested the video then! I was unsure until Sunday morning if I’d be able to post a video but here it is 😅 I think zoos can only be a good thing if operated in a sustainable and ethical manner! Like they do in this one Paithalmala eco resort if you’ve seen my earlier video from that place!😊

Very sad to see the desperate animals stuck in cages . In a way the concept of a Zoo is very sad.

Not all the animals were desperate or all the cages bad though. Even many pet animals live in cages and wont really survive out in the nature. But definitely some of the animals here had very sad living conditions and especially the bird section had a very stressful environment. Zoos could be good too, but they need to follow sustainable, ethical practises.

First of all We have to think twice before commenting on anything, especially when we criticize others or when we give negative comments about others. We must understand that these are all pets (Pet station ) and domestic animals, not captured from the wild. If we free them it will be a miserable life outside for those animals. I personally visited that place and I also met the pet station owner. He is a great pet lover and also a great human being... I know that they are giving fly time for all their birds and not keeping 24/7 in that small cage. I am sure they are taking care of their pets better than us About Stress level, Every creature in this universe has stress including human beings.....Just think about Wild animals in the jungle...living life in the jungle is not easy for them every day/minute is challenging for them.(don't want to go in details) At least I am sure in petstation ( I am talking about only Pet Station,not sure about other places) they will be getting time to time food/treatment etc but I am not denying the fact that they do not have any stress..certainly they will be under stress but that is life...According to me it is a great place for all the pets.

At the entry the animals seemed to have a decent amount of space for themselves, and again closer to the exit where most of the parrots and such were, but especially the bird section where most of the outdoors/wild(?) birds were it was quite a stressful environment 😕

I wonder whether Vinod ever speaks in Haryanvi with Annika just as Johanna would in Finnish

the title to the video 'amazing zoo' is a misnomer, since the animals were kept is such a bad environment

Like i said in the video too, i agree that for a big number of the animals there the conditions were not good at all in a small metal/plastic cage. But as a whole the beach, zoo and play zone area was amazing, but saying it in so many words in a title doesnt unfortunately work well and this place is mostly known for the zoo so thats the word that i used in the title in the end, even though i agree that they could develop the living conditions for the animals. 🙏

The conditions were quite decent for some of the animals, but definitely for others it could be a lot better. The bird section with the small cages (not the parrot zone) had quite a stressful environment 😕
