well actually they both played their roles well.. He definitely made a good job, making us hate him as much as possible so that he would look like a total douche bag when Alicia disintegrated him and the judge mopped the floor with his dignity cutting short his questioning XD

This is one the BEST modern legal dramas out there. Also I love how Alicia answers her questions, never quite using the exact words/phraseology they want her to use but still answering the questions honestly. A true lawyer.

In the phrase "Alicia Florrick owns the attorney questioning her..." is an understatement. But the word "owns" is probably as good as we get in English. She does it without paying a penny or ruffling a hair, and while remaining totally calm but very focused. Impressive.

"Why don't we just leave it there." Now that was awesome!!

It pleases me that the judge is on her side.

Except this would never happen in a real court. She would be told to confine her answers to the question asked. She'd also be admonished when arguing back with the lawyer & told to shut up. Her lawyer would then be allowed to follow up.

Not really partiality. Objection was raised for relevance, judges rutinely rule that they do not allow unrelevant questions at such point.

@@Loosehead we can see partiality only cux on tv we know whats going on in someone’s mind in reality thats not the case. Thts why many ( ofc not always) times we feel that they are being bias however its just reality.

This show always had good writers making the scripts

Pedro Pascal has been literally in everything.

The series had really sharp writing

As someone who just started binging the show, I think they keep acting surprised whenever it's mentioned bc both parents keep telling them divorce isn't happening so whenever it's brought up they're like 'what? I though you said you guys weren't doing that'

I fell in love with her even more after this one!

Show was way better when the Florricks were together/working things out. I get that they have to write in a severe, if erratic, reaction to Will's death for her. But doing so essentially wrote out Chris Noth and the chemisty he and Marguiles shared. Season 6 felt a bit empty w/o him and Eli being more central characters.

That's the best u can do. The attorneys ask these invasive leading questions and can be very aggressive. It is wise to think before u answer each question. To understand what is the end goal where is this questionnaire ends. She kept her calm and when he didn't expect sge hit him with the logic. Thankfully judge was logical too.

My mum watched this show and I remember thinking that attorney was attractive, now I've discovered it was Pedro all along🤯
