The good. The bad. And the ugly.

Комедия

Tractor time with Doug and Amy. To see the farmer boy, one must go to the field. We find there is never a lack of things to talk about.
Badgers, corn planting, lakes, sloughs, church, the good, the bad, and the ugly with life on this earth.
And I’m not talking about Clint Eastwood movies.
Thank you for joining our life in the struggles, the triumphs, and the in-betweens.
Blessings to you,
Amy

I think that is a good church service when it moves you to tears!! The Lord is Sovereign over ALL! Love to hear you two “discuss” things! That is what Mr. Dougo would wish for??? LOL No, it doesn’t mean it will be without suffering and strife but it does mean we will not be alone doing it and He will always be with us and He will sustain us if we have faith, trust and believe in HIM! Thanks be to God! Hope everyone @ Larsons Farm has a wonderful week!

We also disconnected our satellite service. We live far away from a city with local channels that we don't get them either. So it's youtube and Amazon streaming for us. Not only does doing this save a lot of money, but my sanity also, I don't watch the crap network tv puts out.

In the old days they would build cribs out of large timbers and fill them with rocks. No shortage of rocks on the farm. The cribs settle on the lake floor and don't move. You build the dock on top of the crib. The dock stays at the same height regardless of water height. I've seen some a good 60 years of age. The old timers used what they had and it worked for them. You need to really anchor the dock to the crib well, mother nature will want to test your work with heavy ice. God Bless your work !

Any and Dougo thanks for taking a few minutes during a busy time to do the Sunday show!!! It was very interesting and enjoyable. Busy time with planting so I thought it was nice of you to ride for a while with Dougo in the tractor. Glad he warned you to hang on in the turns with the planter. Think he was trying to do interviews with you and plant and was a bit too much. But both of you made it work. One of the main subjects was the dock. Might I give a suggestion. Just have a dock company come and take care of the dock. You are busy with planting. They know what needs to be done. Just turn it over to them. You then can take care of farming and Amy can know it is being taken care of. Just a suggestion. Thanks to both of you for doing the video even though you both were busy. You both are just super people!!!!! Take care and be safe with the weather. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

When I was young, I would make a big mistake, and then think "I will never do that again!" Only a fool would make that mistake twice, but now I am old, and looking back I realize that I have made the same mistakes multiple times. But it never looks the same going into a situation as it does after you make the mistake.

Hi Amy…my husband and I love watching your KZread shows. You and your husband make us laugh. You remind us of how we squabble at times. We are a bit older than you guys though. I also watched The Crown. I don’t think Queen Elizabeth felt she was on the same level as God. In the first season…episode 5… about 41 min in… the former King George is watching the coronation and explains how the coronation is a religious ceremony as God chose her to be Queen. This is why the coronation is held in The Church of England. She is hidden from view during the anointing ceremony as God is present at that moment and should not be seen by “mortals”. In episode 4, about 10 min in, Queen Elizabeth speaks to her Grandmother and her Grandmother explains the calling to monarchy is a call from God. You should watch those parts again. I found it very educational. Thanks for all you do! My husband farmed for 30 years so now he gets to be an armchair farmer watching your families videos. LOL! God Bless!

Used to live on a lake here in . took used electrical poles. Cut a point on one end and shove it about 4-5foot into the bottom of the lake . Your excavator would be perfect for doing it. They last forever . Then you can make it any shape or size. We did post every 15-20 feet. You can make the poles long enough to put a hand rail on if you wanted and can put the deck whatever height above the water. Plus you could build an extention for when it floods. Need to put up a jar for new dock fund when people come to use the dock they can throw in a donation.

We are still waiting for pictures of the Beaver, Please show several angels so we can all get a good look, is it still in the area, do beavers have more hair in the winter time ? Do you need a license to trap beaver? If you find a beaver, can you eat it? If so what does it taste like??? Why do beavers always like it to be wet? I hope they dont mess with you seeding!!
