@@amysblessings My hubby & I watch during his lunch breaks. I kept saying “Amy’s such a good sport” He said “you’d do that but wouldn’t be able to get up”😂 That’s so true! Dougo & I were born the same month, same year but my body is 20 years older from thyroid disease. I’d still try it tho! We only got dustings of snow here in PA. Today, we have ground water flooding all over town from 3 days of rain. No snow

Happy Easter everyone!!! Snow angels 😇 so much fun. I was feeling Doug's frustration with Little Bob. I can't stand a piece of equipment that won't work. Makes me want to take a hammer 🔨 to it, and do a little technical alignment. While that generally doesn't make the problem get any better, there's a brief period that I can feel better. Then, spend some time and money to fix the problem. ❤️🚜🇺🇸 🤍🚜🇺🇸 💙🚜🇺🇸

Seafoam and/or Rec. fuel- (Recreation fuel) No ethanol in Rec. fuel. Ethanol attracts water which contaminates gasoline that sits for extended periods of time. I use it in all my lawn and garden equipment.

Ethanol fuel also screws up the air fuel mixture ratio for those screws that were set for straight unleaded

I took out factory engine and put in a 20 hp Honda - eliminated the problem!!! Best scoop shovel I own, wouldn't trade my little bob!

It's nice to see a couple who loves each other. Take care of each other.

Oranges. There were lemons 🍋 on a tree next door to where we stayed in SD.

Now I remember being at Christopher Lake helping to spread sand on the beach. The Bobcat overturned. It was funny until the hydraulic oil started pouring out. I ran to help my cousin lift the Bobcat upright. I would have never believed it but the Bobcat has a high mass down low. We lifted it fairly easily. We had borrowed it from my Uncle Ted who used it on his farm for cleaning out manure from his low sheds. It was the gas model like you used in the video. . . . it did what we intended. . . . spreading sand on the beach. 👍🏻

With little bob 2, my uncle has one that he had a v-twin Briggs (I think) put in it and he said was the best thing he ever did

I have been asking myself this question for some time (why do I watch and subscribe to KZread channels?) The answer is obvious, It is because all the people in them are genuine and you would be proud to call them friends, If you met them they would say hello and not because you happened to be a subscriber to there channel but because they are nice people. If you put your hand over the carburetor when running and put it away when it is about to die it will back fire and shake things loose in the carburetor. That a quick rebuild carburetor.

Put a shut off valve on the gas line and shut the gas off and let it run the gas out off the carburetor when you are done using it. Works every time.

Put a can of sea foam in little Bob it will help clean the carburetor and help stabilize the gas

Fuel treatment “Mechanic in a Bottle” works great with carbureted engines. 2 stroke and 4 stroke Really cleans up the passages from stale fuel.

Will be interesting to see the video about what Dougo did down by the lake. Clean the snowblower? 😂

Next time try Berryman chemtool. Pour some directly into the carburetor to fill bowl while started. it will work quicker it may smoke temporarily as it burns the vanished gas out but will dissipate quickly. Also put some in fuel tank.

You had quite a bit of snow on the ground up your way-wow!!!!!!!!! Central Iowa just a dusting is all. You talked about garage door being damaged by pushing snow against them. Amen to that. THE Needle Value in the carburettor of Little Bob 2 is jammed by dirt in the fuel. Which is a common situation that often does happen with carbureted engines. While tapping on the top of the carburettor (with a screwdriver handle) is one short-term solution in overcoming this situation. However, with this vehicle the concern is also with the choke (if it has a manual choke and not an automatic choke) and the idle screw setting. (rich or lean mixture etc) - As the Larson;s would say "JUNK" There needs to be an inline filter in the fuel line and the fuel tank should never be run low on gasoline.

Dougo beating on that carburetor like a rented mule! Run Little Bob RUN! I've seen Dougo rip the steering column out of a quarter million dollar combine by the roots just because it wouldn't turn right!

Need to use non ethanol fuel in an older machine that sits a lot. It will eliminate that problem.

Worked on a farm a few years ago driving semi hauling grain, there were 2 of us named Bob. The other Bob was quite a bit bigger than me so he was Big Bob and, yep, you guessed it....I was Little Bob. Thanks for your great content and the snow Angel!

We've missed out on pulling Stone out this winter! Hope he has not been stuck any, i always enjoy seeing that young man, too! Beautiful snow angel, Chris is missed! Happy Easter to all! ✝️

Add sea foam to the gas. Dump in a whole can. I use the marine grade. It also cleans the carb

When Amy was out on the porch and Doug was going inside it reminded me of a story I put on Facebook about my wife. People took a lot of offense to how I treat Maria…. We were having a pretty good Utah blow one past winter. My wife kept looking through the window as the storm got worse and worse. Looking through the window, staring, looking…. I started to think if the storm gets much worse I’m gonna have to let her in…..😅 Doug already knows this but on Amazon or even through the Bobcat dealer a new carburetor for a couple of hundred bucks will help Bob be more cooperative. Carburetors anymore seem to be very fungible. As usual, thanks for a nice video. John

Thanks for the videos. Yup Bobcat backfiring through carb and stalking. Tell Doug indicates it’s starving for fuel. Need to clean the carb needle valve and its removable jet ( count how many turns to screw in the needle valve so it can be reset to that position after carb cleaning). Unscrew needle valve and the jet behind it and clean them. Pull float bowl and needle and clean it plus all passageways in the carburetor. Reassemble with needle valve set open to number of turns from closed position (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turn from full closed) should start and run great. There should be a manual or automatic choke on the carb. If manual use it. If automatic press accelerator pedal to the floor and slowly release it and it should be set to choke with fast idle till it warms up.

Man if you had a young boy to clean that off lol

Lil Bob has certainly done enough to deserve a brand new carb…!

Float bowl or fuel pump. Pull the gas line off and hook it up to your boat gas tank. That give an idea of which it is.

Hey dougo there are people that can do a swap and put in a diesel engine in that little thing. It’s just a little 2 cylinder Kohlar engine. You could have a new engine put in that is fuel injected. So you do have options. Upgrade to fuel injected gas engine or diesel engine your choice.

I've had great luck adding Sea Foam to the gas on equipment that sits for a long time.

That's when you know... you know? that you get a lot of mail when you take a skid loader to get your mail.

Sea Foam has helped me lots in the past with small gas motors.

Yes 91 is the way to go and feeding starting fluid in like that isn't good. I've witnessed motors blow apart. We all are guilty of doing it. Be careful

An angel making a snow angel. Hey Dougo just wondering why you don't just buy a new Carbutator. Then rebuild the old on and have a spare. Better yet sell Bob and buy a mini tractor like Chet has. Bucket on the front blower on the back? Cheaper than a skidsteer.

Sea foam in the gas tank always on those engines helps!
