@@_darkkstar_ Frankly I don't think readers all get the big picture here. I think Yongje Park is using the anime as an opportunity to correct the mistakes he made in the story. I believe the anime will end up being better than the Webtoon in the long run.

Worldsmith Club I agree. I’m also a webtoon trader but I can definitely understand the original creator changing some of the story. Didn’t it start creation in 2010? There’s going to be things that weren’t such a good idea in initial development after years and years of continuation

Personally i didnt like the webtoon, but not for the story. I didnt like the art style and the way certain scenes played out, but this is VERY different.

seth hakulin it is it has a great plot and it’s fight scenes are acc pretty good. GOH plot is meh but the fight scenes are amazing but that’s expected coz it’s a battle shounen if the fights weren’t great then people would watch/read it. Tog has great fights eventhough it doesn’t need to.

Does anyone remember when The God of High School was just a Webtoon, the graphics and fight where already godly there. The anime is just like *chefs kiss*

I think this episode does a really good job of effectively conveying a lot of information really fast and keeping the pace steady throughout.

When the first episode ends on a cliffhanger I see you're sticking to the source material

I loved this anime, I really appreciated the pace of the storyline too. We got the information, it didn’t drag out or need a ton of episodes for a single fight. They had superb animation for each fight and scene. If more anime were done this way they wouldn’t have to keep doing remakes.

Can’t believe I have to say this. Guys as a upcoming WEBTOON artist. The story does get better. It’s only been 3 episodes the tournament is to introduce these characters for future purposes. Like tower of god this is an intro and trust me no offense to tower of god but a much more entertaining intro. Season 1 tournaments are a great way to confirm success for the first season to receive hype

I dont understand why people complain so much about the story in a show that dont actually focus too much in story. Obviously the characters will not get such depth, and there will be some plot holes, but the anime/manhwa still have his charm and beauty. It's the same as if you complain about the lack of jokes or childish characters in a Seinen anime
