The curling iron incident is actually a real bullying case in the early 2000s in South Korea. And the worst part is that the perpetrators didn't get any type of sentence or even a criminal record for that matter .

@@preexthis The bullying part is indeed an adaptation of this case. But the revenge part is just the screenwriter's creation. Because in the real world, the rich and powerful people have far more influence than movies.

it was in 2006. The victim recently did an interview and said she found out the bullies are know social works or something related w helping people (i don’t remember that well)

It is actually based on several cases, the curling iron is part of a Korean bullying case, meanwhile the 18 year revenge is based of multiple revenge cases for bullying one of which was Japanese

The little girl is the main bully’s daughter. The main bully is powerful bc she’s rich. Her mom pays to resolve things.

I feel like you guys misunderstood what the little girl meant by “main character are supposed to have nothing at all” 😭💀 I believe what she meant was that usually in stories (more specifically fairytales) main characters are usually the underdog, the ones with nothing at all or less than others. ( Cinderella, the princess and the frog, sleeping beauty, etc) most of the main characters in these stories are usually ones who aren’t wealthy, so what she meant was that she didn’t like the story cuz her mom was not the main character, and she was asked “why do you think your mom isn’t the main character” and then she said that because her mom is rich so she knows that main characters are not supposed to be privileged people(in fairytales), which her mom is. And then OUR main character says “you are wrong, your mom IS the main character….because this isn’t a fairytale” hope that makes sense:) But y’all were funny af tho, just subscribed now and can’t wait for more reactions to the rest of the show :)

@@preexthis Yes,, fables on the other hand are morality plays, in which people are punished for their misdeeds. The evil stepmother meets her doom, the boy who cried wolf gets eaten by wolves, etc.

If you have time, please react to *Strangers from Hell* it is one of the darkest Korean dramas, it keeps you one edge and not something you can binge-watch because it is kind of heavy, but the acting is absolutely phenomenal. It is a hidden gem

There are many very attractive Korean dramas such as Woo Young-woo, Kingdom, My Name, and Hell, so please watch after watching Glory.

This very easily became one of my favorites especially after season 2 can't wait for yall to watch it all👏🏽

Guys, I also recommend another revenge, crime and action k-drama called "Taxi Driver"(16 episodes long). The revenge is fast-paced since every episode features a new case of revenge sub-plot, but there's an overall plot-line. It has a very unique and fresh take on revenge. The main character is also an anti-hero. Some of the crimes are based on real-life crime cases that actually happened in South Korea. I think you guys will really like it. I also suggest another kdrama called "Strangers From Hell", which is a psychological, suspense k-drama....it's quite eerie, despite not being a horror series.
