I had a lot of acne in my teenage years, and they leave scar. Not freckles or black dots, but atrophic scar. Lol the guys are so hyped up to the love story that might happen, even more than the girl. These two guys always hyped up to everything and the girl think slowly and rational lol what a combination, I love you guys. I demand more reaction to this series! 😤

The young woman who is Ye Sol's Au Pair is the same woman who works retail sales at Sieta Clothing and who accompanies Yeon Jin to her TV station and does her makeup before her weather broadcasts. She's like some all-purpose personal assistant like the kind celebrities have and it's very deliberate the show keeps showing her despite her not having any noticeable role in any main plot or even side quest. And when she told Ye Sol that her mom's green shoes had a little red in it (which colorblind Ye Sol wouldn't see), it could either mean literally (sloppy blood cleanup) or figuratively (she somehow knows those shoes are stained with a specific violent crime/MyeongO).

@@davidyodo24 yes, and if you go back and look at the girl being bullied after Dong Eun dropped out of high school, that’s her. Interesting she’s the only actress who played both the teen and 36 year old versions of the same character. Maybe because she has a young looking face

I'm sure they added the yeon jin's mom's shopping scene on purpose. Middle-aged/elderly Koreans are not often called by their real full names because it can be considered rude behavior (instead we use sir/ma'am/boss...etc) But in the shopping scene, they purposely put her friend on the scene to mention her real name So we can see that her name contains a lot of O maybe they want to show us that the most avoidable person in yeon jin's life is her mom

I really enjoyed you guys reaction especially post discussion cuz it's full of enthusiasm! One thing about 'ㅇ' in name, it's Korean consonant letter not the Eng alphabet o, and the letter ㅇ is one of the most common letter you can find in Korean's name. It's like how easy u can find alphabet e in English word. I read somewhere it could be a roundabout way to warn Yeon-jin to be careful and stay out of trouble, cuz she can meet anyone with ㅇ basically everywhere. Don't know if that's the intention of scriptwriter, but I love that interpretation 😂😂😂

Superstitious, blowing-all-her-money-on-Shaman-mom: "stay away from people with Os in their name; they bring bad luck." Yeah, like you said, Jae Jun and Sara are the only ones without Os. And when I went back and rewatched ep 1, when the mom gives teen Yeon Jin that warning, she specifically encouraged her to be friends with Jae Jun and Sara but stay away from MyeongO (manbun) and Hye Jeong (flight attendant). I just didn't pay attention to that scene in the beginning since I didn't know anyone's names yet.

Am I the only one infatuated about the subtle relationship between the husband and moon dong eun??? they are so attractive and have a powerful, mature and seductive alchemy together??? plus the husband has that theme ost that remind me the music ''in the mood for love'', god it's hooooot 😂

When I first watched, I didn't quite understand why the husband chose to stay with her, either, but it'll become quite clear whose side he's on very soon (you guys probably already know if you've watched ahead). So, his choice to stay makes sense when you look at it that way. - And just call them by their first names, lol (technically their "last name" since their order is reversed) the same way you would in America (Yeon-Jin, Myeong-o, etc.). That's what they do, as well.

Yeonjin is the main villain, but Moon's mom grates on my NERVESSS, she frustrates me so much

I think the husband is staying with Yeonjin bc of his daughter. I think he knows that if they divorce, Jaejun can get legal custody of her bc he's the biological father. It just makes sense bc u know he hates Yeonjin now.

A bit of clarification on the name Yeo Jin should avoid. It's the letter o in Korean, not in English. So you need to read the names in Korean. Jae Jun is the only one in the "bully circle" with no o, Sara has one in her full name (Lee is written with o at the start).

@12:00 the best part of this conversation to me, was that Do-yeong was succinct and to the point with everything he said EXCEPT his feelings about Dong-eun.
