I’m telling you when kdramas want you to hate people, they want you to hate hate people and all three of your reactions did not disappoint!😂 Especially during the apartment scene and then when the “boyfriend and me were discussing her being pregnant…you all were so done I was 💀 😂.

Lmao. Kdramas are literally the best at making trash humans lmao. And the thing is , you see how talented the actors are at it. The trash husband and best friend are superb actors. The husband is borderline funny until the name calling starts and the he’s friend is makes these facial expressions and gestures that is the viewer can recognize as fake but convincing enough for the characters. Her eyes twitch and or you see the evil when they zoom in on her.

Four shows that I thoroughly enjoyed and were highest rated in 2023 were... 1.Twinkling Watermelon 2.Moving 3.The Good Bad Mother 4. Death's Game All of them were so different from each other but the thing that made these fan favorites was how characters in them resonated with audiences.

@@YaBoyRockLee I think because it's such a different type of vibe, personally I haven't seen a drama as similar to reply 1988 after it aired in 2016 as twinkling watermelon and since 1988 is THE kdrama (once one has seen it, they know what I mean) it really hit home for me. you also don't see shows with deaf characters or such strong family bonds as often anymore which is why I think everyone loved it. plus it's sooo sob worthy lol. Also, marry my husband has a webtoon that I read a few years ago which is better than the show in most ppls opinions, but since the show did so well at least in the first half keeping to the webtoon people still hype it up but not as much.

You'll get mlre pissed and rooting for Jiwon as you watch more. This drama, twinkling watermelon and doctor slump arr probably my top 3 kdrama as at the moment.

I remember reading this on webtoon before omg and BOW IT'S GOTTEN A KDRAMA ADAPTATION?!?!? IVE BEEN MISSING SHlT OMG

so in korea when they do the bouquet toss its usually only to one person that the bride chooses and its usually to someone whos suppose to get married soon as they have more superstitions added to it. ( like if the person who caught it doesnt get married they'll be forever alone or something like that )

okay, Marry My Husband is a good show - my only gripe is some of the changes they made from the Webtoon in the later episodes, but I get that it's for the live action interpretation. Otherwise, it's a good watch and I can't wait to watch your reactions to every episode 🥹 Anyway, Twinkling Watermelon. I was honestly avoiding this show for months because the title seemed weird to me and it didn't seem to be my type of show, BUT... when I gave in and checked it out, it turned out to be such an awesome show. Honestly my top 2023 drama alongside Moving. Hope you guys can check it out eventually!

It's a kdrama from 2020, same type of plot of cheating husband/revenge but it's more of a thriller, fast-paced and very dramatic (no comedy or fantasy aspect tho) It broke the record for the highest rated drama ever in Korea. A must watch!

Twinkling Watermelon, I am currently slowly watching it and it's not bad but it probably is better if you are younger, like a teen and maybe early twenties. I'm at ep 10 now but started watching it in January while I started and almost finished The Glory now the last two days and I'm watching ep's from other series too. Like I'm not excited to see what happens in Twinkling, I just wanna finish it since I started it and it's not bad, just not that exciting for me even though it's well made. I also expected more since it has such a high rating. But everyone's taste is different so you might love Twinkling Watermelon.
