Wow, it's really incredible to see how much water we use every day, we really have to take care of water. Water is not an infinite resource we have to take care of it or it will soon run out, We all deserve water, it is everyone responsibility that the water does not run out, there are not enough bodies of water we must be aware about how much water we need 💧💧💧

Fairly dumb comment. There is exactly the same amount of water on earth as there was day 100 years ago. Remember the water cycle?

This video is very interesting since it clearly shows us the excessive and even unnecessary uses that we have with water sources in our homes; It also allows us to identify that water sources are necessary for a number of important activities such as agronomy, however, we continue to waste this by leaving the shower faucet open while we bathe. A video that seeks to raise awareness, very important. Studen: Laura Margrieth Dimian Zambrano

How is it determined that cars require almost 40,000 gallons of water to fabricate - and all the other items? Honest question there. It seems that with those figures totaled, there wouldn't be any water left at all...certainly not fresh water. Another question: when someone runs water through plumbing (sink, toilet, shower, etc.), how is that water considered to be wasted? It's recycled via the sewage systems. It drains back into collection tanks/ponds, cleaned, and ready to be re-used, so it's not like the water molecules simply disappear. Almost the same applies to watering the ground (for agriculture, gardens, etc): water drains through the soil and into the so-called 'water table'/water deposits (springs, wells, etc.). I'm sure some of it is consumed by roots of plants (isn't this a good thing for the environment?), but another percentage is recycled (naturally). Looking for some answers. Thanks!

In the video I can see what the future will be like if humanity continues to waste water. This video shows in a very clear way that we do not deserve the life we have, the day we see water as money we will be more grateful to the environment.

This has been the clearest and most important video that I have seen regarding this issue of unnecessary waste of water that we cause ourselves, it seems very important to me to learn to save a little more water but above all, learn to take care of it and not contaminate it because we remember that our rivers and seas are largely polluted by the neglect of us humans throwing garbage and this leads to ending the life of marine species and incidentally, we are ending our quality of life by consuming Non-potable water. On the other hand and as the video also shows, it seems important to me that we learn to put into practice those examples that illustrate how we can save a little more water and use it for what is strictly necessary, we must bear in mind that there are many vulnerable populations who suffer from lack of water and we who have access to it without problem, waste it when more people need it.

I like how the video is showing us how much water we use in every single item and thing daily. From agriculture, to even making the recipients we use to drink water; our electronics, power, clothes, foods and drinks and the million of gallons of water we ourselves waste all day in our lives. The video is showing some examples of how can we save water, even if we think is a little or close to nothing, if everyone does something to prevent and conserve water, it can make a clear change in the global water crisis. Some things like fix leaks, closing the tap when we are brushing our teeth or washing our hands, all these things can be the deciding factor of progressing on the crisis, or putting a stop to it and doing something about it.

Really like this - would be great to get a version made with metric measurements as units may leave UK and Ireland and European students a little baffled. BUT - it is so good. I believe us Brits second only to Italians in Europe for per head water usage so we have much to learn and improve. These kind of teaching assets help. Thanks, Take Part team! The video shows that water is very important for the daily life of human beings, so it is important to take care of this natural resource, since the world population can be greatly affected when this resource is depleted, the video shows that there is little water For human consumption For this reason we have to learn not to waste so that it lasts longer.

Clean, fresh water is a limited resource. This resource is becoming one of our most precious and underrated resources in the world. Every person on earth needs water to survive because without it, many of us would become ill and even cause death. While almost 70% of the Earth is made up of water, many parts of the world suffer from a shortage of clean water due to the misuse that it is given by society in general and the abuse that is had by government entities. This is why we must Conserve water and use our water supply wisely and be responsible. We use water every day of our lives. It is required in almost everything we do. We need water for drinking, bathing, cooking, washing, and countless other activities. If we want to continue keeping our bodies healthy, clean and everything else, we must conserve water, since fruits and vegetables, as well as other products, require water to grow. But if the area suffers from a drought, how will the food grow? This can make sustainable living a difficult challenge as drought-stricken sectors will become useless as plants of any kind will not be able to grow. Without water, the population will starve. Water also protects our ecosystem and wildlife. Pumping water from the central facility requires large amounts of energy to operate the equipment. For this reason, it is not only necessary to save water but also the energy we use in our daily lives. By: Estefania Rios Herrera

I think it is a good video because it shows us that water is essential in our life, it also shows us that we behave selfishly with the environment, since even knowing its importance we continue to waste it and we are not measuring the consequences, also we do not perceive the damage that we cause to other species with this behavior. we have to care the water.

Good point by one of the comments here on this thread. If the water comes from the pipe and into the sewage it doesn't just disappear. It has to go back out somewhere, evaporate and go through the cycle again. So I don't see how the water is wasted. I get the process of getting the water to is but..maybe someone can explain.

Water, an invaluable asset. In a few minutes, the video illustrates the importance of this natural treasure, and how little we value it. We overlook their presence in everything we use, not only in the agricultural and agricultural part, nor in our care and well-being, but in all manufacturing processes, this in reality we do not perceive, and on the contrary we waste unconsciously, without thinking that the day is coming, this precious mineral is unattainable. A reflection that we contribute to the care of water, taking the necessary measures to avoid losing it. We are on time!

In my opinion, the video makes us aware of the importance of taking care of drinking water, as it is a perishable natural resource. The video shows the multiple ways in which people waste drinking water. I think that if we continue as we are, the drinking water will run out very soon and we will enter into a global water crisis. This video seemed very instructive and timely to me.

With that in mind, we as future professionals must ensure the well-being of the environment and the care of water. because without water we cannot live and we cannot know life as we already know it. So it is our duty to start caring for water, as we cannot continue to increase this water crisis it is time for a change and change begins for each of us. This video shows us how important the protection of a natural resource like water is. In Colombia we have laws and there are many measures for the protection and use of water, people still waste it. On the other hand, it invites us to become aware of its efficient and rational use, because if we do not take effective, prompt and self-sustaining actions, we will have a shortage of drinking water in a time not too distant. This is why the video seemed very timely and interesting.

The General assembly of the United nations recognized explicitly the human right to water and health, affirming which clean drinking water and healthy are essential for the humanity. So after that law I think which we need to be more conscious with the care of water, it’s a essential element for us and we need to be more carefully with that.

This notice it's not new, for years water is less, the need is more, and most of the human race don't care because just care life on individual way. So educate the childrens with new mentality to create a new generation that care of the environment and do the things different.

Water is a natural resource of economic, strategic and social value, as well as being essential for the existence and human well-being and maintenance of the planet's ecosystems. Where are you going to put all the salt that we remove? It's gotta go somewhere.

Wow! 2866 gallons of water to make a pair of jeans! Yikes! How could that be ?!?!? I guess I won't be buying a new pair of jeans! I work for a company that manufactures a device used in the shower that cuts water flow by 2/3 after a preset time of 5, 8, or 11 min. Please check us out if you are interested in saving water and money in your home. ~ Shower Manager

What global water crisis? There's no water crisis here, we've got tons of it. Don't project the problems of some desert regions onto the world to try and make it a big deal. You chose to live in hot place, take the rough with the smooth.

What planet is the water going to? Just because there may be a water shortage in one place does not make it a world wide problem. So how are you going to get the water where it is plentiful to the shortage? Some people will believe anything!!!

Michael Meyer ...what's more the water doesn't leave the planet and go into space, it recycles, so that 3% fresh water (they don't mention how much that actually is and people are too stupid to realise just how vast our oceans are) is the same 3% we've always had. The problem is too many people in desert regions, nature has its own way of sorting this problem out, everythings fine, it's called famine.

purplenex, I agree with you I was trying to make the point that water has no where else to go. These people that think this stuff, look out their window and think the conditions they see are worldwide.
