The Glenmorangie Lighthouse is an experimental distillery on the Glenmorangie Distillery premises. The unique building acts as a playground for Dr. Bill Lumsden and has many innovations in the distillation process (including height adjustable stills).
To celebrate the opening of this unique distillery, Glenmorangie bottled a specialty. Because the inside of the lighthouse is decorated with the wood that was extracted from the barrels in which this whiskey was previously stored. We were allowed to tour the surrounding area and the grounds of the Glenmorangie distillery.
