If you want a proper let's say shoulder to elbow tattoo, drawing it alone can take from 2 hours to a couple of days, and then there is the time it takes to outline, then shade, then color, it's at least 2 sessions, and when you combine it all should take MUCH longer then 10 hours. AND you add the consultation time in as well. So, she is a shitty shitty tattooer that only outlines from printed images(or a liar), there is NO WAY she draws and tattoos an actual piece in 30 minutes.o

You can see that tattoos are not just a part of her job. But a part of her heart and passion. This is a great example of a great artist. Always wanting to learn more, and taking a step higher just for a more amazing result. This lady is fire!

WHY would you brag about doing 20 tattoos in 10 hrs? That's not impressive. I can't imagine she does a good job if she's working that fast.

I kinda think, and this is purely speculation, but I think that the client probably called and made an appointment and the black haired girl just so happened to be the one to answer the phone call. Cause someone who asks for a specific artist isn't about to let someone else put ink on them. Js

I was just thinking that. And the way she says “I have better things to do with my time” shows how much she doesn’t care about individual tattoos. She probably only cares about about super huge outstanding tattoos that get a lot of attention, and she probably doesn’t care about smaller, individual tattoos. Every tattoo should be treated with every ounce on concentration the artist has, no matter how small or simplistic the tattoo is.

I agree that she didn't know, however, when greeting clients you should always ask the following: " have you been helped?", "are you here to see someone specifically?", "did you have an appointment scheduled?" I like Liz but I feel had she communicated a bit better the drama may have been avoided. I will admit though that the other girls are also looking to find a reason not to like her because they do feel threatened.

@@hiii._.01 But if the store takes walk ins too, how do you know if someone is a walk in or meant to be working with someone else in the shop if no one told you AND you didn't see the artist talk to the client? I think she effed up, but I don't know that it was intentional

I'd rather sit in a chair for 4 hours and get a rich, detailed tattoo rather than a rushed 30 minute one. Even if the rushed one was done by a better artist or was a better design.

All artists need visual reference points, though. Out of the countless things you could be asked to tattoo for someone in a customized way, it's really rare that even a brilliant designer/artist would have an informed and clear mental picture pop right into view without checking certain details for realism (such as how many gills does a shark usually have, etc.)
