Ice Burg........They don't celebrate Christmas....They only celebrate the New year but with decorated tree with gifts and fireworks.I have 2 books on Turkey and they explain it.The weddings are different from European and Western World except for the white dress: red sash for first time wedding and blue for second like Feriha wore when she married Emir again. Everything else is different from Christian wedding.When a woman has a baby they put a red ribbon on her hair.❓❓

acctually translation is wrong. they're talking about new year celebration but it is translated christmas. we had trees and all the ornaments too but the day they celebrate 31th december not the 25th. Feriha should act wisely. This Lavent is like a bird of prey waiting for a carcass! @@marieg4739 at this point, hazal had not signed up for her next drama. But notice how her curls started to straighten right after Emir finds out the truth about her? I do agree she looked gorgeous with those curls, but the hairstyle change is an interesting way of the show to tell us that now that the truth is out, feriha no longer needs to put in effort to alter her appearance to look rich. Notice she looks simpler now too. She used to wear jewellery like earrings and necklaces before, now she doesn't. Even the make up is minimal. This is all done deliberately.

You are on point.Now that Emir knows who she really is ,she doesn't have to pretend and goes back to her regular self and thats the reason she dresses casual even after she marries Emir.Now that everything is out in the open, theres no reason to impress anyone .Aysun told young Can that of all of his brothers girlfriends,Feriha was different because of her dress style but when Aysun met Feriha for the first time she had just had her falling out with Cansu and had taken all the clothes back ,so her mom had to go buy her some at the bazaar just so she could go to school, but then Lara was kind enough to let her wear their clothing.I still think long hair doesn't become her.

Hande has nothing else to do in life except following around emir n koray, looking fr others weakness to insult them n put them in bad situations, poking her nose in everyone's business, ruining other people's happiness n life n last but not the least, acting proud.
