Four individuals ,and I know them well. All swore they saw an old lady with long white hair , wrinkled face, floating a foot above the ground, miles off the highway. This is on the Navajo Reservation , believe it or not!

Hi, this did not happen--at least anywhere near Socorro, NM. I was attending college there at the time & the scariest thing that happened '84-'88 was a fellow that got his own daughters pregnant & thought it was ordained OK for him...

That was truly horrible. What kind of creature did they encounter in that desert. This made my skin crawl. That poor girl losing her beloved father. Bless her heart.

This story was fantastic loved it! Especially if it truly is a true story but even if not very good come around to the ending it was pretty damn creepy but seeing a kid walking in the middle of the desert would be pretty damn creepy too and I be the idiot to do the same thing he did! LOL

I'm not sure if this is a work of fiction, by whom? Was it sent in, still just a story. Is it based on true events and some psycho girl that is responsible, just spinning her story. Just in case. If true, we have a missing person, a considerable amount of blood and one version of events. I usually believe most things I hear, because of many unbelievable things I've experienced, but there's just to many holes in this story, that don't make sense. I was a single Father raising a child. I'm also the Father of 3 grown daughters, and where I can agree with most parts. There are some other parts, that don't quite fit. Ultimately, I am not the final Judge on anyone or any part of this.

I know folks in Soco NM and I am inquiring about this story. There’s never been a sheriff Dickson in Socorro county. The part about everyone knowing everyone is true and no one can confirm but it’s still a cool story.

Chances are that this story is entirely made up. The narration is too perfect and the story hits all the right notes at the right time to create the perfect horror vibe. The (guy)s that make these up do some homework which makes them even more convincing. Even so, excellent story telling

I thought this was a real story until the very end. You're a very convincing narrator and storyteller... 😮

You're extremely talented. Your stories leave us biting our nails and keep us on edge. You should surpass Mr. Nightmare. We love his stories, but yours are creepier. We'll try our best to get you new subs by sharing etc...
