The Ghosts of Kensington Palace

Ойын-сауық

The Ghosts of Kensington Palace. Welcome to our second royal residence, the beautiful Kensington Palace in London. Although a younger property than Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace has an interesting past. A tragic love story, a curiosity and a royal scandal have all left their imprint at Kensington Palace. Is the Royal nursery haunted? Join us on a journey into haunted royal history. Please feel free to like and subscribe. Have you had any haunted experiences in a royal residence? If so please feel free to comment. Your support is really appreciated.
I am aware Prince George is pictured at Kensington Palace not Prince Louis, but I just wanted to illustrate that 1A is a a recent residence of the Royal Family.

What sad stories. Poor, unhappy Kings, Queens and Princesses. I hope they found the peace in death they never had in life.

Wonderfully narrated. Kensington Palace has certainly seen tragedy. Princess Diana hated living there. Who knows, maybe she saw the ghost of Mary?? and others.... we'll never know....

But remember Diana grew up in a huge mansion she was used to these grand places! The queen apparently saw ghosts many times ! I am much happier living in my cottage in Hertfordshire I find huge houses very cold 🥶 and spooky! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌹

I love your narrative and you are precise with your history. Again thank you for the haunted history. The last story of the spinning wheel has haunted the castle until just recently. I can't remember exactly how but a wall was damaged in the castle and all those years, decades, centuries the spinning wheel could be heard. But none ever found until they were fixing the wall and accidentally broke through and they found a room with a dusty vintage spinning wheel. Again this is a most recent find. Sends chills up my spine.

I really thank you for your lovely kind words and for taking the time to comment. Jack the Ripper is absolutely intriguing and I’m in two minds as to whether to do a video on the subject. I’m sure the tour was fantastic! I am aware that with so many advances in criminology and investigations means the case, in some ways, is still evolving even to this day. I’d love to tell the stories but I’d love to know what other viewers would like to see regarding Jack the Ripper, but I thank you for the idea. Best wishes, GC 👻👻

My father was a Royal Protection Officer at Kensington Palace for about 25 years. He would often come home and tell us that someone had seen a ghostly face at a window - he never saw it himself but said the other officers would report it only between themselves and not officially for fear of being mocked. As a child he lived near Dover Castle though and I think he said he did see the headless little drummer boy walking amongst the battlements. Unfortunately, he and the other officers have all passed away now so their stories have all been lost, shame.

Thank you for sharing this interesting story from your father. That’s fantastic and it sounds like he must have seen an array of interesting things in his line of work. Interesting that people didn’t want to discuss incidents for fear of being mocked. This is a common theme in the Tower of London too, for sure. Interesting about Dover castle! 👻🙋‍♀️🙏👍

Your videos at 10-to-15 minutes in length are too short to spend too much time on intro sequences. You need to get to the "meat" of your subject inside the first 10 seconds if you, as a newcomer to KZread, are still limited to a maximum 15 minutes duration. Though you can extend your time limit to one, two or more hours(not that you'd use that much time) via the "Settings" in "Your Channel". Just go to Your Channel, Settings and follow the prompts, then you'll be able to post longer videos, covering more than just a few examples of hauntings. That said, your stories are indeed interesting and I may even consider subscribing. In fact, I will subscribe. There you go, I've just subscribed.
