Michigan isn’t even close to being the standard. First national championship in 26 years and all of a sudden Michigan gets to be in that conversation…. Come on dude….. I don’t even consider Ohio State close to being the standard. 2 national titles since 2000 doesn’t cut it. Winning the B10 year after year doesn’t cut it. Michigan doesn’t recruit well enough to be at that level. Sure you can add in development that you guys constantly talk about, but that takes time and the development has gone to the NFL. I think Michigan will stay relevant, but not at that level. Win another national title in the next 2 years and then there’s talk. The only team that came close to even touching the Bama standard was Clemson. That 2015-2020 run was unbelievable. 2 national titles, 4 national title appearances, made the playoffs every year. They went 2-1 vs Bama in national title games. Also, they were bringing in top recruiting classes. Michigans run since 2021: 3 B10 titles, 3 straight playoff appearances and one national title. But…. Getting blown out by Georgia in 2021 and losing to TCU in 2022 (who got throttled on the biggest stage in college football) in the semi finals doesn’t help Michigans case to be the standard.

@@taxisquad11 we all know the saying what goes around goes around…those schools has been pay for play since Nick went to LSU…don’t forget he’s the same coach at MSU & at MIAMI in the NFL. Nick didn’t become ish til LSU (sec) girls taught him to pay for chips…I don’t respect that & it’s hindering NCAA…these kids are missing the goal which is to go pro. ThT NIL money given to a teenager will not help nor last especially at the schools who rotate 5* players each year. That money isn’t promised either…then what are you teaching to student body???? That’s the entire purpose of college’s period for development of the mind & preparation for life. Not running around taking all the handouts commit them enter the portal like Ewers did OSU…they said that was planned for him from the get home…he was cming back home to Texas We will continue to prevail & continue developing our players. Pay for play that’s what you get on the field as well Go Blue!!!

Michigan is 40-3 in 3 years. Georgia is 42-2. They are the standard whether you like it or not

@@MasonShinrock What happens in 3 years males no one a standard of anything. Just before those 3 years Ohio State beat Michgian FIFTEEN out of 16 times. Michigan has to get Georgia on their schedule like Ohio State does..Georgia has twice as many National Titles than Michigan has and won 2 in a row in those 3 years. Once again proving Michigan IS NOT that special
