@@ooc329 I was thinking, "May as well jump in there and rule it out -- worst that can happen is dying, as opposed to getting CP1'd or winding up in a horrible anti-softlock." Though with this level, it didn't seem like there was a viable "back to CP1" setup in the CP1 area. Of course, troll creators have found creative ways to hide those setups.

@@sienile That’s not entirely accurate. Whether the stringed instrument is referred to as a violin or fiddle is based on how it’s played. To play the violin, only one string may be in contact with the bow at any given time. Fiddle players may make the bow contact multiple strings at once.

@@Bobal27 What? That's not quite true. While the term "fiddle" is generally associated with certain genres of music it is not exclusively tied to any of them. The difference is in fact in fact entirely cultural. Fiddlist may use a flatter bridge and steel strings and there are differences in what techniques are commonly used in the style of the music being played but none of those are exclusive to the other. The distinction is frankly quite arbitrary and entirely cultural. The instrument itself can be appropriately referred to as either a fiddle or a violin when no observable cultural distinction can be made based on context.

@@datatravelleri It wasn’t quite arbitrary when I learned what I said in band class 20 or so years ago. Nowadays, since violinists have adapted to using multiple strings at once, your answer is more correct, but the original distinction comes from the number of strings being played at once. In Shakespearean times, or back when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about Holmes, the term “fiddle” didn’t exist (at least, as it pertains to an instrument). Strange how correct answers can change over the years, but my statement would have been true if musical culture hadn’t changed. Now you know why it seems arbitrary :)

Maybe 90%. Carl and some other streamers have also embraced "Every pit is a chance for glory" from time to time, especially when shinies are involved. And sometimes jumping in the pit actually _is_ the solution.

Hey carl i know this is too much, but in your next video can you talk about what’s going to happen or what’s happening moving forward with covid, vaccines, the delta variant and stuff? I’ve been having anxiety about all of this stuff and when you talk about it and explain it you really put my mind at ease
