Do a deeper dive on the defense. That's how they have won all year. They were no.2 all year and point differential is usually statistically boosted more by defense...not just offense. The 3 pointers are a bonus. Lazy analysis just looks at the 3 pointers only. Case in point forst round was actually won defensively not by the Celtics 3 pointers. All of ye 3 pointer analysis falls apart in regards to consistency. You know what has been consistent all year? Celtics defense.

Jaylen Brown ENTER his 1st YEAR PRIMES 💪🔥💪
It really depends on how good your coach is. I cant ask for more if iam the celtics headcoach.
The issue is not so much the drop off from KP to ah but from ah to LK on the bench.

It’s funny though if you look at the net rating leaders in the nba this season, the top 4 leaders are in this order: Hauser, Pritchard, Dwhite, and Luke Kornet lol

If Horford and Kornet each played 40 minutes, Kornet would put up better numbers. He's much better than people give him credit for.
is that 2k at 2:51 on queta's photo? lmfao
Stats should not be points per game but points per minute (how can you compare bench stats saying "per game"?) :))

I went to a Celtics game without Tatum and tingus and Korbut had 20😮😮
I dont think they mean like ther gunna lose immediately ...i think they meant ther chance at championship is over .....they have had this team before and feel short some say they even choked and porzingis was the piece to get them over the hump with porzingis out thats in jeopardy and yanis got the same injury at the end this season never returned so are we sure injury prone porzingis will be back for the next round .....idk

I think they can take the Knicks without him. It might take 6 or 7 games tho
A champion mentality team shouldn't need to rely on just a star player to win there games celtics have a team it's there's for the win they deserve it I hope its wolfs vs boston because at least if celtics take a L the wolfs have never won the nba championship and it would be good for the sport but at a celtics fan I still want my team to win 😂
We will be fine we got Hoffa kornet tillman and queta as well as brissett long aa our defense holds we will be fine cause offensivly we got a lot of scorers

Agreed. Celtics beat the heat with defense. They didnt shoot well from 3 in 3/5 games.
@kierenmoore3236

Agreed. Defense was not up to their standard in Game 2, and that was a big reason why they dropped a game.
Who was our big in the last ECF/Finals appearances?? Horford... We're alright until KP gets back

So far a disappointing team that with this amount of talent should have been won a championship. Best wishes for Tatum and team this playoff run because if they don’t win this year how does Boston not break this team up!

Yes it because if a good player is out, others have to pick up the slack and work even harder. That’s the whole difference buddy. KP makes their whole game easier for them, making players feel more relaxed. It’s like you have somebody reliable in your team who can put some points instead of you needing to pick up slack.

I pray they don't bring back pingus till the finals
IF THE CELTICS MAKE TATUM THEIR CENTER THEY WILL BE BETTER!!
Boston beat pacers in 5 and beat the west in 6. Then all the media can get off their back and give them some credit for the year they are having
I don’t see how Celtics can beat Denver or wolves in finals without KP ! I don’t seee th besting knocks on a potential ECFwptgit PK . Playoffs are different animal and can’t be compared to regular season !!! Celtics don’t have strong bodies and will loose the rebound battle easily without KP and have a lousy coach as well

When the Knicks drafted him. A video of a NY fan asking who KP was and used tingus pingus instead of his name went around. So it's stuck. It's like how you might scream "LEROY JENKINS" before going into a battle. Because some guy did it in World of Warcraft one time. And the internet saw it and ran with it.

Genious? Porzingis health was a risk.... AND IT HAPPENED.. And Jrue Holiday is sticking it up... like he does every single playoffs. They went all in... and if health remains like this... they aren't favorites against any of the West potential rivals.
@backyardbuckets829

Do not talk about my glorious defensive king Jrue Holiday like that
I dont get it using the regular season recprd, without KP to talk about the Playoffs! You can't compare the regular season, when teams also have problems, rest and sometimes really don't care about the game (many teams are trying to LOSE to get a better draft pick)
@yaboytroy4557

Um the record shows they are still really good even without KP. So they should be fine against either the cavs or magic.

Just using stats to back up the fact that they are good without KP. Only played 1 playoff game without him so
Knicks are browns territory
If the Celtics don't win the title this year, they never will with this JT and JB led period. They have been trying with many different versions since 2018. All chips are in this year with the addition of KP and Holiday. They really are loaded with a very good bench. If Denver, Minnesota, OKC end up winning the title it is a fail for Boston and I don't think they can recover with another disappointment.

The Knicks are a good team but having them as favorites against the C’s is not a great take imo
No doubt Brad Stevens is an Alpha in basketball; but after dismissing Udoka, he has not made any earthshaking decision to improve Boston’s coaching staff, save for naming JVG as consultant.

Mazzulla IMO is doing everything he's been asked to do and that is to get buy in from his stars JT/JB/KP and keep the locker room something that Darvin Ham and Frank Vogel failed to do. Celtics are so talented you don't need a coach Spo to win.
@chemicalhap
Ай бұрын
These comments come from casual fans who have no idea what they are talking about because they don't watch games. You don't get ahead of the entire NBA by 12 games by not having a good coach and if you watch the games, the adjustments and discipline have been reinforced by the coach.
@TheRobversion1

LOL wtf? You do realize other teams are trying to poach Charles lee? Hes like the leading candidate this offseason, aside from JJ, for franchises with open head coaching opportunites. Sam Cassell is a solid assistant as well.

The entire C's coaching staff is up for jobs, and Mazzulla has been outstanding. Basically every player is having their best year, and they had a month off at the end of the season bc of how far ahead they were.
