    In Serbocroatian in everyday speech we prefer to use the possessive, as in Antonov auto (Anton's auto). The genitive for possession sounds a little too formal like Ulica Tita (Street of Tito)

    and for feminine words (just curious) like in Russian you use ин? like бабушкина машина.

    My brain finds it difficult to connect the gender of the possessive pronoun to the subject of the question instead of the direct object. I need to practice questions with чей, чья, чьё and чьи :)
