The "gay agenda" | LZ Granderson | TEDxGrandRapids
Ойын-сауық
I'm sure you've heard a lot about the gay agenda but few outside of the gay community have actually seen it. Tired of living in secrecy, LZ Granderson is ignoring protocol and will not only talk about the exact content of the agenda but show audiences a copy of it.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*

This ted talk made me think of something. You know, fellow gays, instead of yelling at and fighting with people because they say something "offensive" let's begin to fight for some actual issues like the ones this guy here is talking about. I know this took place 5 years ago, and some if not most of those issues are probably resolved, but my point still stands. Let's fight for real issues instead of getting offended by every little thing as i've seen some of us do.
@-somatryoshka

Honestly if people are being rude just approach them with kindness and it will absolutely confuse the person against you. If you do this they tend to settle down and I've been in situations where they do research without me even encouraging them to do and I've made people change their views through this.

mikael im talking about how some of us get offended over the smallest things. Im not saying all gays are super sensitive or easily offended, but it seems today its somewhat of a trend for people in general to get offeded very easily over the smallest things. Instead, we should be trying to improve the world we live in rather than verbally beat someone up for saying something we dont like or agree with.

as a christian asexual panromantic I can say half of that statement is true. There are some "Christians" that really hate Lgbtq+ but the other half are actually really nice and accept others for who they are! I came out to my church and they were really supportive and love me the way I am! For real Chistians (the people that accept anyone) we are really ashamed for the people that say they are christian and have the 'I hate' attitude because then others start making fun of actual christians who don't have a problem with the LGBTQ comunity and just make them feel bad too. I honestly want us all to be equal and care for people just how God would've wanted it to

Helpless Waiter Ok define Christian a Christian is a person who follows the Bible wether they like the rules or not. Second a Christian does not change God's rules for their advantage they submit and accept the rules that God made. The problem is with the Christian that accept homosexuality is that they are not Christians they are putting there own inturpritation on God's laws. Which is wrong that's what Satan did inturpritated gods rule to eat the forbidden fruit. I hate to say it but anyone who changes God's laws are not Christians I'd even say they are Satan's workers used to deceive the lost and confused.

@@Mcfreddo I agree that the political climate in the usa is far from ideal, to put it lightly. Seeing that the democratic party has generally helped greatly to enhance lgbtq rights, I feel like the party will hopefully push for more of that in the future, but what you say is definitely possible and this is all just speculation anyway. I also agree that things look like they could easily take the turn for the worst in terms of human rights. The roe v wade case especially is pretty scary.
I may be alone on this but I would like to hear an updated version of this talk. So much has changed in the past few years.

I've run across some of his columns. He is the voice of reason. I have gained so much respect for him. I saw his name on this and I had to watch it. What a wonderful message!

what an amazing talk! chapeau bas franchement !
Working on ending the unfortunate killings of anybody regardless of color of skin by police is what I thought would be my legacy as a civil rights activist, but seeing that lgbtq+ first world problem became catagorized amongst the civil rights movement, I am proud to never have been a civil rights activist.
