Interesting takes, not sure i agree that moridin is in control of rand personally i think its a mix of crazy and multiple different voices in the head, but im not sure ive heard your perspective before so thats cool to think about :)

Thanks! I’m not sure of my theory entirely either. At least I’m not certain how it squares with the other books or even how it works in every given Rand scene in this one.

There's more of Jordan in these last three books than first time readers expect, assuming that Brandon wrote them in toto. It's more like much of this was written and Sanderson ties the pieces together.

Now we enter the Sanderson entries. And I'm nearly done with Hero of Ages.

Maybe if I read the series but it seems like Rand story is one of a fallen hero. Most of the time your are out lining what Rand does he is being a bad guy.

It is fitting considering in his previous life he fell due to arrogance, the Dark one made him mad and he killed his family while mad and then killed himself when he realized what he had done
