Ironically, their weakness under a more democratic restructured government is what brought control of the Empire back under Aberdt Dessler's rule. That, and their near annihilation by the Black Nebula Empire, an event which was only stopped by Dessler & the Terrans working together, plus the sacrifice of the last remaining Iscandarians.

Ironic since same thing is currently happening to our Democratic Party all over the world. Democratic policies are weak, they eventually all collapse like It is designed to fall to extreme left Wing turn into communism, dictatorship and worse we ve seen this repeat in history over and over. Biden is an example of a foreign controlled deep state communist/ Israel funded traitor to sell the corporation of U.S.A into their dominion. We must not accept it We the people. They are trying to fuel duality and division and tribalism anger, hate, racism and victimization, force vax, force transgenderism on your children, tax the heck out of you because of climate change hoax, wage wars, indict opposition like Nazi Germany. its like a loop every century. How Ironic its almost as if earth is already under alien invasion by demonic beings.

Awesome to see Space Battleship Yamato content (or Star Blazers if that’s what you’re familiar with) in the Western sphere, though I can’t really blame anyone who hasn’t heard of it. Basically the Star Wars of Japan before Star Wars came out. To those who are seeing this, I genuinely recommend watching the series, specifically the SBY: 2199 remake of the original 1974 anime, though some would argue to watch the OG. Works great as a stand-alone, so you don’t need to watch the sequels after it. It’s an overall enjoyable anime that won’t win anything major like the popular ones, but it’s enough to hold its own. Japan has a more sizeable fanbase for the show, but it’s neat seeing this every now and then. I was surprised to see even some of the bigger Sci-fi channels cover anything SBY-related, so every bit I find on the English side is every bit of a gem. Great work on the Garmillas Empire. Loved them as an antagonistic entity and loved their ships.

Thank you for this. I have been watching SBY since 79-80 and is still my favorite anime. Its nice to get any new information that I had not heard.
