He works best with original characters and not pre-established characters from franchises that originated in other forms of media, especially characters with very specific voices or accents because when Chris Pratt plays these characters, they sound more like himself than the character he is trying to portray.

I don't want to be mean, but his editing in the last year or so has definitely dropped in quality and I'm about 1 more badly edited video (especially sound wise) away from unsubbing from what used to be one of my favorite channels.

Just wanted to say that milk is NOT good for cats! And media needs to stop spreading this myth. There are specially-made milks that you can buy for your cat but giving the milk we all drink is not good for them. It will make them sick. They are lactose-intolerant. That’s just a little pet peeve of mine and makes this movie even more annoying to me lol.

Garfield is PG and makes more money. Furiosa is R and so it excludes a lot of young viewers that aren't 17+. I know age ratings don't define quality, but in regards to sale, obviously there are a ton of kids and families who'd choose the "safe" option.

I will always appreciate and recognize Paul Schoeffler for doing a phenomenal job as voice actor, because unlike Chris Pratt, Paul is very good at bringing out uniqueness and different styles in the characters he is selected to voice, they don't all sound like Paul Schoeffler For anyone that doesnt know who this guy is, he was responsible for like 80% of the villains in the cartoon network show from the 90s called "Courage the Cowardly Dog"

I had to suffer through this film because my son wanted to see it. What I truly don't understand is why they cast snoop dog as a stray cat from the pound... the movie was marketed at kids and my 9 yr old sure as heck didn't know who he was🤷‍♀️

I went and saw this movie with some friends and I’ve never felt so bored. I genuinely couldn’t wait for the movie to end, it just felt like a bunch of nothing

Within the first few minutes I knew the movie was going to be so brain dead. It felt like it was at least 3 hours long

never been more excited to see 'watching ..... so you don't have to' format bc I was really curious and really didn't want to actually see it

Correction, Garfield doesn't just run into his Dad, his dad doesn't just show up. Garfield and Ottie get abducted by these two dogs right out of their home to lure out Garfield's Dad who shows up to try to get them out of that situation cause the white cat hates him for abandoning her and causing her to get thrown in the pound and forces Garfield and his dad into this whole heist situation.

You know it is bad where a memeable character such a garfield has had no internet coverage, has more memes before rhe movie was rleeased than aftwr. And i completely forgot tbr movie had released until i saw this video.

My favorite Garfield movie was Garfield's Nine Lives movie. The various animation styles and stories they came up with were great. I recommend it. Edit: Only thing I liked about this Garfield was Odie. Odie is great.

Watched this in theatres and felt the same thing. My mom said halfway through “What is this crap wtf how is this Garfield? What does any of this have to do with Garfield?” Vile movie. Blinky the clown reference was the only interesting thing

i went to see this with my cousin cuz she was hyped for it and it wasn’t until we sat down that we realised we actually had no idea what the movie was going to be about. like all the ads we’d seen just showcased garfield and not the actual plot of the movie😭 we ended up leaving 30 minutes in from how unbearably boring it was

Not to mention all of the product placement in the movie 😂 the Walmart app literally takes up the entire screen for a few seconds

I just never can watch any animation with Chris Pratt, the most one dimensional voice actor to exist, because I can’t get into it. At least Aquafina has a couple changes and decent roles. But you can only play yourself once before it doesn’t make sense again

I love a=how so many reviewers are all like "This movie did not make the history books as the greatest thing of all time!! I t did not male me stop and question my reality or give me deep introspective thoughts. Therefore bad movie!" This move was no masterpiece, but it was a fun watch. Not every movie has to be perfect or mind blowing. It was a comedy movie that told jokes and had a simple story. Sometime that's all there needs to be.

We're so used to the recent slop we seem to have forgotten about the golden age of animation in the 2000s and early 2010s. Animated feature films weren't always this garbage. The only animated film in recent years even worthy of any sort of award is the Spiderverse series. People are becoming much too content with the rubbish they're being fed. I don't know about you, but if overworked and underpaid animators have to pump out this slop each year, it's neither in our or their best interest.
