A lot of people only remember him for the beef with 50 but Jas first album veni veti vecci is hands down one of the top 40 rap albums from the rap renaissance of 1983-2006. This line up shows the level of resilience that Game had and still has. Getting all of these artists to agree to even be in the same room, let alone writing and performing on the same track, is an undertaking that’s unimaginable. It really was the best and last “real” remix of what was the greatest generation of organic hip hop in my lifetime. While a lot of artists still make good music, this was the perfect epilogue to a saga in art and music that irrevocably changed our great nation for the better; and showed that anyone, regardless of skin color and demographic, can make it to the top so long as they have the HUSTLE.

Nah it has nothing to do with the time. This was a Mixtape remix. Theirs a reason why it was released on a mixtape track and not as a single or as an album track

No knock on Khaled but I don’t think anyone will produce a remix of this magnitude. Still listen to it in 2023.
