    You say that as if back then Australia wasn't essentially an extension of the British homeland. Everyone knows a Siberian from the far east is a Russian like a Russian from Moscow. The idea that Australians are some principally different people from the British is nonsense and a modern idea.

  • @Austin252

    @Austin252

    @@CobraRedstone First of all he was talking about SERBIA the independent country not SIBERIA a region of Russia. Also Australia wasn't really a British extension and they could kick the British out whenever they wanted. The British still needed approval from Australia if they needed to do something. The British could not just set up a iron mine there if they felt like it. They needed approval from the Australian government like it's other dominions. The only real thing that Australia had to do is that if Britain goes to war Australia and other British dominions have to go to war and also trade with the British. If they wanted they could probably kick the British out with the help of the US in terms of trade. The only British Dominions that were pretty much extensions to British land were Newfoundland and the British Raj (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar) Edit: The first sentence I didn't realize he was making analogy ok?

For example at 2:38 we see forces arriving all the way from top. Is there a name for this unit we can search? Why they were called instead of troops from nearby towns as we see in the video. Little details like this would vastly improve the videos.

    probably 20 years ago.. I was a little kid.. we used to go to my aunt's summer house every year.. in a location just after Çanakkale, just before Istanbul.. naturally, we visited Çanakkale every summer. I would see it once. Once we went for a walk in Çanakkale. As a family, we saw everywhere there was war. My mother and father don't speak English, I didn't know English at that time anyway. One ANZAC came. I say ANZAC.. he came from Australia. We said "come", he jumped into the car and we took him to the Anzac cemetery. He thanked us. There is probably no other community in history that has gone to the other side of the world to become extinct because of an issue that does not even have its own issues, that does not concern them at all. This is what the world was like 100 years ago.
