Am I the only one who is actually happy with the back side in plastic?? Doesn't break as easily as glass, I like the "matte finish", it's lighter, lower the costs a bit... I mean it's a win-win in my eyes. And I'm using s20 fe, best phone I've ever had

I used to buy flagships a long time ago, when flagships truly offered a significantly better experience. Nowadays the midrange can offer most of the experience that flagships do for a lot less money. I've definitely found myself changing from a flagship buyer to a midrange buyer. In part because of the insane flagship prices but also because midrange phones simply have become great phones over time. S20FE and Galaxy A series are great examples of this change.

They started releasing them with exynous then they switched to snapdragon after a lot of complaints, its the exact same model but it should say exynous on the specs.

Although software can always be updated As for charging, I use my phone alot and it still lasts me around a full 24 hours on full charge. So pretty much at the end of the day I just plug it in and wake up to a full charge

I watched this before getting the s20fe 5g. Five months in, and it's still amazing! The fingerprint sensor fucks up a lil at the beginning, but it gets really good. Camera is awesome 👌, good battery life also.

My S20 FE has served me well. I upgraded to an S22 Ultra.

I got a used Galaxy S10 for an incredible bargain of 270€. It's in perfect condition.

I just bought it for $420 in India. i initially wanted to go for X70 pro+ but then S20 FE 5g seemed really attractive at this price. And since its restricted moment at this time I didn't feel like spending that high price :)

I had to upgrade yesterday after my A51 5G's charging port went bad after 6 months. I went with the S20 FE, not overly excited to spend the money since my A51 was similar in specs, but I can say that I'm satisfied with it. I haven't owned anything from the S line since the 7 so it is nice to be back on the flagship.

Thanks for the video I usually pick up flagships but 2yrs after it's launch. Planning to pick up this modem for Christmas.

I recently changed my Galaxy S9 for this phone, but it is the Exynos version with no 5G, it's not a big deal I think, bc here in my country we don't even have full 4G coverage. Not a single complaint so far, it was a huge improvement in battery life and display quality, even though it is the "worst" version for not having a Qualcomm processor. At the beginning I could clearly see how it's less dense in terms of pixels, but how much smoother it is thanks to the 120 Hz. I ended up setting aside the resolution, but now I can't give up the smoothness of the high-refresh rate. I find also curious that I hadn't realised how large this phone was, until I had it side-to-side with the new iPhones, and I saw it is basically the same size as the new iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Just got .my samsung 20 fe today and I love it

Wanting to get this phone in a couple months time. It's a good price for me with what you get. I also like that the back in plastic. I've always owned plastic backed phones so I don't know what the bonus would be for a glass backed phone other then it looking slightly better. It just gives you another reason to be super paranoid about dropping the phone because if the glass breaks it don't look that good. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy A30 so this is going to be a massive improvement.

I just bought this, so so excited

I bought the "flagship" s10 when it came out, and it has been a very solid phone, completely worth the upgrade from my s9. This year I was very compelled to buy the ZFlip3 because of the smaller form factor, and in side by side comparison it is still relatively the same length as my s10 when open. However, samsung keeps pushing back my order again and again (apparently the lavender 256GB model was so popular that it's been on back order until 2nd or 3rd week of January). In the time I've re-evaluated my decision and I am going with the 20 fe instead, and getting it by Christmas! Bit larger than my current phone, but the value is unbeatable for the specs. I can still use an SD card which is great, so I bought this brand new at $350 (128GB) and that is a total steal after paying $899+ for my current phone, or $650 which I would have gotten the zflip3 for. I even had a enough money left over to buy my GB2, even though they were a free gift with the s20 and up models. I think I'm getting a great deal and a decent upgrade this time, so I'm excited!

I am using a S9+ at the moment, love it, been a great phone and I paid 1500 (over 36 months via phone bill in New Zealand) for it as soon as it came out more or less. However I'm needing an upgrade so I'm looking at the FE or just going straight to either the S21 or holding out till the S22 is out next year (if Covid still allows).

Id say go for the s21, sinc echip shortages will make the s22 more expensive

I've had 3 phones, all of which were not flagships. My first phone was a Motorola e5 (I think?). It got slow pretty fast but had a great fingerprint sensor on the back. After that I got an LG phone (I don't remember the model). I did find that the motorola was better than the LG, but they were both very good and could do the same if not more than my friends phones sometimes (which were apple flagships). Camera quality and responsiveness was lacking though, which is to be expected. Currently I'm using the S20 FE. I really like it. The size is just right for me and it definitely looks and feels more premium to me than the other two did. I got it in the Lavender option and the plastic finish is really nice. It kinda changes colour in the light, which pairs really nicely with the shiny purple edges and rims. For the first couple months or so I didn't have a case and it fared really well considering how many times I've dropped it. Obviously that night just be my luck because my brother has the same model and his screen broke after a couple drops. But yeah, the screen is nice, very bright and it's really responsive. There are more options for customisation. The only thing I miss is the headphone jack, which I didn't know was missing until I unboxed it at home. In the future I'm considering upgrading to a flagship purely because of the increased quality and reliability, as my sim card also keeps disconnecting inside the S20 (I've had to replace it once/twice now), making communication unreliable. The battery drainage has also gotten increasingly worse over time and updates. Still, it has fared better than the other two phones. 💁‍♀️

Am I the only one that wants him to make a video saying his favorite Samsung phone at every price point in $100 increments? (I.e. 100$, 200$, 300$, and so on) Edit: Wow, I guess I’m not the only one that wants this.

I have an S20FE Exynos version. And I do appreciate the cellphone, except for the fact that when I bought it it had a heating problem, but after the upgrade from Samsung in last May, the heating problem was solved.

I use a 2018 flagship currently - Huawei P20 Pro. It's still in pretty good condition honestly but I probably haven't made the most of the top end features or the great camera. This s20 fe is extremely tempting for my next upgrade.

I've had OnePlus 3t, 5t and now the 7t. I always buy them a year old so the price is excellent. I'm thinking about the FE. Seems like a great phone.

Using 'Non-Flagship' phone having good performance, display and descent cameras which ofcourse become great with the installation of Gcam. Flagship phones are now like fashion accessories whereas mid-ange phones are balanced and more practical.

I know it's been more than an year since Samsung S20 FE 5G has launched. It costs $492 in India now after S21 FE 5G is out. But still it's one of the highest selling midrange phones here and I'm planning to buy Samsung S20 FE 5G now. Don't start hating me and I know there are competitors out there such as One plus 9R/ 9RT. But at $500 I feel this is still one heck of a deal. Also I seriously wanted to go to OnePlus 9 series but it is having so many negative reviews. I'm not willing to take any chances with it. I know Xiaomi and Realme offer better specs at lower prices but after using 4 Redmi phones, 3 Mi bands, and countless other Mi accessories till now, I feel it is finally time to move out of the ecosystem. Samsung S20 FE 5G still stands out as one of the best mid range smartphones (in India atleast) as of 2022 January. S21 FE 5G is out but I don't see huge improvements worth considering. With exchange offers, coupon codes and other offers, Samsung S20 FE 5G is available for as low as $312 and I'm seriously considering to buy it.

Don't s20 fe has only 2 years of updates left while the s21 can land out u an extra year. U only shift from like 30k to 38k (with trade in) since s21 fe is meant to go on sales.

This phone is the best phone I ever owned. after two years of use and still running like a charm, no bugs, no slowdown, no issues at all. The only one thing that I am noticing is the battery draining little faster than when it I bought it new. Still, full charge can go long way.

@@jaydulera6166 if you are buying a new one, try S21 fe 5g which is also very good. The price should be a little bit more than S20 fe 5g. S21 fe 5g has better chipset, Snapdragon 888.

This is a delayed view, I'm currently on the Samsung s9+ so yeah, at the time, a flagship extra one. I'm due for an upgrade, looked into the s21+ but someone suggested the s20 fe as an alternative since the 21 removed the optional microSD slot and I've gotten kinda used to that having had only flagship s-phones for a while. What are your thoughts?

I am exactly in this situation. Ordered the 256gb S21 and tried it out, it's nearly full and haven't even put anything from my old SD card on yet. Have arranged to send it back today and ordered the S20 fe instead. The s21 just didn't feel *that* different to my S10e, well, enough for me to lose my SD slot, you know?

@@deanhyman8622 I've just ordered a s21 , ee let me upgrade but my monthly payment has gone up 10 pounds, and I buy Spotify so they wanted 39 a month add 10 Spotify that's 49! 49 pounds a month off each person who owns a phone it's disgusting. It's dull to look at and the extra money for an extra good camera I'm hardly going to use just isn't worth it, think I'm sending it back I'm sure I can find a Samsung flip on 02 for cheaper or I might try this Samsung s20 fe can get it hella cheaper and I personally think it looks better than the s21. I won't but the FE if it hasn't got a headphone jack or normal charger point either I go through about 8 headphones a month godknows why there getting rid of the aux

I thought it was only on the Exinous chip but then I saw snapdragon owners saying the same thing. I live on an island under Colombia, so I have to make sure whatever I buy be the one because returning is very complex. I am considering s10+ if i can get one.

I got one of those first FE 5G in Oct 20 from US. Its on UI 4.1. I am still using it and it is as good as it was from day one. No complaints. I am tempted to upgrade to S22+, but holding back so far as reason tells me that there wont be any noticeable upgrade after trading the FE in and coughing up another $550.

I kept an S6ep+ for 7 years and it was so good except for the 32GB memory. Screen and cameras and sensors were great and always better than all other phones. never had even an scratch even though I dropped it on hard stone floors. The battery finally died, and I recently got an S20FE 5G, it is a great phone with SnapDragon chip but it lacks sensors like Heartbeat and Barometer. ALso it is only HD screen and not Gorilla Glass, S6 had a 4K screen 8 years ago! A flagship phone is too pricy anyway.

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S-10 Smartphone! I enjoy this phone that I have been using for the last year and a half. I traded in my a50 for the s20 fe 4g, its worth every penny, the performsnce is also nice, the 4g version uses the snaodragon 865 now so it wont have issues like the exynos model

I'm using a Galaxy s8. Even though I bought a new SIM card to use in Japan when I travel there, I could not use the phone at al. I could only use the wifi apps by the gov't for tracking me. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I bought it a few months after it came out when the price here in the UK had dropped slightly. I wanted a Note for years and after using it, to me it seemed like a near perfect phone. The newer S series just do not appeal because the features I value are missing. I like being able to either use a dual sim or expand the memory. The S-pen dock is welcome too. The build quality is superb. The only negatives: when filming videos, sometimes lively movements in shot will mess up the focus for a couple seconds; and there is no dedicated headphone port. I did get a usb-c adapter with a splitter which allows me to charge the phone at the same time as using my earphones and it is better than the alternative of having to keep charging wireless earbuds. I am now scratching my head wondering what phone will I be able to upgrade to that won't leave me pining for my Note 20 Ultra?

My last phone was a flagship, a Nexus 6P and I've been in love with it from day one. I recently bought the S20 FE for the price/performance analysis of mine. I almost bought an IPhone 13 Pro with 256GB storage for 17k Turkish Liras, which was like 17 hundred dollars at the time, then Apple increased their pricing and added extra 4k TL, which gave me a cold feet off of it. Then I saw S20 FE in an electronics store and it felt amazing, the 120Hz display, the speed, the cameras, it had all the features I was drawn to with the iPhone but for less than 1/3 off the price, at 6k TLs. The only downside is the lesser material quality, but I can definitely live with that, given I drop my phone a lot and that's why I am a big fan for rugged phonecases. Thank you MQBHD for this review.

This video made me Pre-Order this phone. One of my top phones, up there with the s8 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. (Just out of the phones ive owned.)
