    The beeping is a setting on your phone you can turn on or off on most phones. See Settings->Sound & Vibration on Android. Curious about the AER Compact 60/4 and the DeCapo 75 which have had a lot of great press. Are these as loud as the Fishman Artist and how does the sound compare? As I understand the Fishman is a Class D 120W amp and the others are a Class AB 60W amp which is rated using a different method.

    Great sounding, but I have a few technical questions. First, what would you suggest for playing acoustics in a dry climate (7 to 22 % relative humidity) outside in the shade? 2nd How do you avoid tuning issues of the guitar in shade and then sun? 3rd where do you find a power plug? I have a Loudbox with it battery. Controls look different

  • @JeremySheppard

    @JeremySheppard

    3 жыл бұрын

    I wouldn't worry about a dry couple hours playing out. As long as the guitar is properly humidified at home. I think a tuner pedal is your most helpful tool, you can find ways to tune pretty subtly between songs, while you're talking. Battery powered would be best for some situations. If you're able to get power, it's better. This one definitely has more features since it is AC powered.

    I have an older one that I have used the sh** out of. Certain guitars I have sound better thru it than others but overall, it out performs all others I have tried. I get that mid-wonky-ness from my dread 12 string with a k&k western installed so I know what you mean. I could use a new one with the bluetooth and I should mention that I purchased mine from sweetwater quite a few years ago. Maybe they could send me a new one to try out? Free? Or maybe 1/2 price?? 😎

  • @JeremySheppard

    So glad you feel that way. I work very hard to have pickups that sound like the guitar they're amplifying. This is an LR Baggs Lyric. It's a condenser microphone mounted on the bridge plate.

    I have one of these but am a beginner. When I plug in my ibanez acoustic-electric, there are these horrible loud spurts of distorted sound and I have to move the cable around for the amp to do its thing but it gets interrupted and staggered. Is it my guitar, my cable, or me? Help!

  • @JeremySheppard

    @JeremySheppard

    3 жыл бұрын

    It's probably a dirty jack or broken cable. Try a different cable and that will tell you if it's the cable if the noise goes away. If it stays, it's probably the jack on the guitar. It could also be a dead battery in the guitar.
