Finally, a platform that allows creative thinkers the ability to focus on styling and functionality without worrying about the engineering required for battery chemistry, motors, inverters, heat pumps, etc and control systems!

Just wow. If it wasn't for shows like this we would not know about innovators like this. One thing I wish you had asked about is the modulatry of the rest of the Ev. It's great that I can change out the corner hubs in about an hour but how about the battery? Is it chargeable or its it built into frame. As always , Zack and Jesse great show look forward to the mobile studio.

Now that was a good episode. Clearly he knows his stuff and he done his research. When he said minimum viable product, I was sold. He gets it unlike Canoo that had to pivot multiple times as their plans were just unrealistic and non-produceable. Had they focused on a single, simple product relegating everything else to the future drawing board, they might still have a future. As it is, they're pretty much done for.

I don’t know if there is a market for this, but something like this could be used for EV swapping classic body on frame cars. Just order the corners/ platform for the right dimensions and then drop the body on top.

While he was talking about exposed high voltage wires, I couldn't help but think about Aptera and what would happen if a tire gets torn off. And with the Aptera design, those front wheels are especially vulnerable.

There’s more urban uses that are rarely addressed that contribute to our ability to make neighborhoods that are livable without requiring a personally owned vehicle. Fire vehicles, ambulance & paramedics, school bus, street sweepers & snow plows/sweepers & material collection trucks are some that rarely get mentioned but have huge impacts on our development patterns & thus operating costs & capabilities of public entities.

I would buy this for my Buisness , ambulance, delivery truck, for an RV or bus. Amazing!!

Isn't this what bosh is already offering. I wish more companies would choose this concept instead of Re inventing the wheel.

I can totally see Amazon and other delivery services paying for this type of technology would save them tons on repairs in the long run.

Great to see these technologies allowing different chassis designs and add to common battery solutions that will drive bespoke solutions to ALL ICE vehicles!

Emo-bility. Interesting concept. LOL Haven't looked at REE yet. I've invested in a few thousand shares of GOEV. Hoping they get full production going this year. They've already got the sales under contract so they just need to get the vehicles to them. Since they have been putting the vehicles on the road for testing both by them and their contracted customers for a couple of years now, confidence is high. :)

I love the concept of R3E, I hope you can improve the performance of your corners. I hope that you can take the Science of Lucid battery for long lasting travel. It's taught in KZread by its CEO. I hope also your price will be budget friendly.

May I suggest you edit the title to "Ree Automotive" as this will be easier to search :)

Interesting and certainly promising tech. But my concern with all these new transport systems that are appearing now is that the transport industry as a whole may just not be ready for it, even though it seems so easy to implement by next week. These transport dinosaurs like postal services, school districts, waste collection companies etc. have decade long contracts and are usually very conservative about funding unproven and technologically complex vehicles and software solutions over good old faithful diesel trucks and buses. I wonder what it takes to get these dinosaurs to switch and divest from their traditional fleets and ways of thinking.

With MVST (Battery maker that uses various chemistries) supplying batteries to REE is a reason for me to buy stock in REE. Both appear to be disruptive.

Much better concept than hub motors.

What's the highest ground clearance?

REE's share price is constantly dropping, this is my biggest worry with them although like their products and concepts very much

Low platform height is a great start for all vans! How Low can you go? Super-awesome for all cargo, delivery, passenger or RV vans. Lower center of gravity will give us a safer and more comfortable ride, lower roof, less air resistance. Where do I sign up for one? Let's see an AirStream or Winnebago custom RV on these platforms.

To ME, at 77, it's a winning concept with a viable means of production. Sadly, that may be why it fails. I bet on the Towers being stronger than airplanes - LOST. I bet the crowd on Jan 6, 2021 was a peaceful group that would state their grievances and then quietly leave - BIG LOSS. I was certain Elon Musk and Tesla would have been lingering memories in how NOT to start a car company, by now. MILLIONS of dollars gone from that one as well. So that's my track record. I need a mechanical parking brake that works without any electricity. Also, I need to be able to get it into neutral if the drive battery is bricked.

I can see REE working with The Boring Company to carry containers through their tunnels automatically.

This is the right way to build vehicles. A lot of crossover with Arrival's system. Who needs a megacasting?

Arrival, made the same huge mistake of giving their EV Van prototype a flat front. The efficiency loss of a flat front design is dramatic, and in the real world doesn't work well. Ever tried driving a flat front luton van on the motorway at 70 miles an hour ??. You can actually watch the £10.00 Notes dissapearing from your wallet as you speak. In the design studio it looks very nice & revolutionary, but not very practical. The Canoo rounded front design is probably a lot better...
