I am the person who wrote the print_rich function! xD Thanks for making a video about it ^^

These seem like wonderful additions, especially the tooltips, cell and table functions, and while not usually necessary to actually help in projects, the aesthetic Rich tags are so nice, as starring at a console for ten hours straight becomes a bit less dreadful with being able to implement these in debugging. I haven't really tried Gadot before, but I would love to check it out!

see, that's not that bad. what's much worse is when you forget a colon and *don't* get an error about it. and then suddenly you realize half your files have been deleted. (something similar actually happened to me when i tried to delete a file named "~"

@@binarycat1237ah, nothing like writing a bunch of code that runs, but doesn't work for sh*t. Made me turn from a cocky assembly user ,to crying like a b*tch and using C with libraries this was projects on PIC microcontrollers for class, I was pretty proud of myself making PWM control work first try using assembly, then I tried to check a temperature sensor with an ADC and output the result to a 16x2 display and my pride was crushed thoroughly

I’m not going to bother trying to make games in Godot any more… I’m just going to make Godot console messages that abuse me.
OH MYYYY GOD. If I didn't already think this was cool for all the amazing animations you've made, the Bad Apple definitely sent it over the top! Also the unclosed tags leaking into the rest of the error messages is absolutely hilarious, I almost don't even want that to be fixed.

what an amazing video.. like... probably one of the best godot vids i have ever seen. the graphics, info and presentation are all excellent. well done. can't wait to see what you do next. cheers!
The animation is so charming and nice to watch
Just found this channel and it is great. I enjoyed the narration even with the fact that I have never used Godot. And the animations were so great too. And I noticed that this cannel was asleep for a year or something. Is that the old avatar at the end? I sense internal lore there...
You left for almost a year and came back with a massive glow up lol.
Yooooo, crazy good animations Lucy. Keep it up! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Your video was so good! So well animated, so well edited, so interesting!!! I don't use the word "underrated" often, but you are definitely underrated!
This is the first video I've seen of you and I must say, I LOVE how you voice your video. It gives me this feeling of sitting at a window, being wrapped in a blanket and holding a warm cup of chocolate. In more technical terms, you have a very calming cadence and your pauses are excelent. It's just the right amount to give me time to digest what you said, it evokes the feeling of nature documentaries. And I truly love your voice, it's very pleasant, yet keeps me engaged with what you're communicating. Lastly your audio mixing is great. It is well rounded, there's no reverb and it gives the impression like you are sitting next to me inside a stuffed library explaining things to me. And your visuals perfectly pick up on it with the low sun giving it this relaxing, afternoon vibe, even your animation is calming, its snappy, not floaty, yet doesn't overexaggerate movement to the point watching it would be stressful. I also feel, pacingwise, it is a bit slower than what is "meta", which is a good thing. It communicates that you trust your audience to stay attentive without showering them with stimuli, while also implicating that you trust your content to be enough to stay engaged. It's a great way to teach and I am definitely subscribing and am excited to see what'll come next. Really, really well done. Idk how much of this is intentional, but that just means it is either very well thought out or you are a natural :D thank you for this great video!

Welcome back sensei who taught me everything I needed to know about godot physics. Great video as usual and I see your avatars animation got an overhaul. Nice too.
omg I love the animated avatar so much!! I know nothing about godot but the animation really drove me in, keep it up, I'd love to watch more even if I don't understand a thing lol
You return!! And with a stylish new avatar!! How cool, excited to see more from ya
The amount of info, humor and production quality that people like you and Addy Valentine manage to squeeze into ~5 minutes will never cease to amaze me. Great work!
I'm now 🤏🏻 this close to jump ship from Unity to Godot. All the trolling I could do with it!!!
Never heard of this channel before, but now that I have, I’m subbed! Feel like I’m gonna see a lot of cool stuff here
Wow!! I ran into your channel a couple years ago, and, to say the least, the quality is progressed significantly! These animations are incredible
I absolutely LOVED this video 💜💜💜 I can't specifically say what I love so much, but the avatar and voice over are definite wins!
@5:05 Lucy's original tweet about this feature back in July '22 was what made me switch to Godot and it's been great. Thanks again Lucy!
The quality and care put into this video is mind blowing! Nice work
You have such a cute way of making videos, I just started learning godot after Brackeys came back so I'm happy there is such a nice youtuber to follow into the darkness that is known as game dev
THE ANIMATION IS SO GOOD WTF??
I already missed you, it's great to see you again, may you be back. I will love following your tutorials. Much success, you deserve it!
This is SO good! The feature and the demonstration. I have started Godot not too long ago and I adore this type of content. Sucking it in like a sponge :D Will definitely use this within my project for better analysis!
It's nice to have you back! Leuke video!
Dang your animation really went up a notch. Very expressive with the eyes and arms.👍 Great as always LucyLavend also the cat was a nice touch.
I like that she displays an image of a cheering cat, and _then_ decides to do something silly.
I'm super impressed by the animations and production quality! 🤩 Very enjoyable voice and way of explaining too. Subscribed! 😁👍
This just randomly appeared in my feed Animation is really damn good Looks like your channel has some Godot tutorials I'm subscribing 😊
Hey wow! This is cool! Thanks for making this!
good to know about that last one! im gonna add a rainbow tag and never close it :)

the quality of this video is insane, wow. good work!
Yoooo girl this is crazy, I hope you keep doing videos like this because the quality is amazing and the style so cool 🎉🎉 I'm a fan now

This is such an impressive video, fr well done!
so glad youre back! you're the first yt channel that introduced me to godot
Wow, you are incredibly creative! This whole video is top tier.
All this time patiently waiting and hoping for a return, totally worth it. Very well made video! Love the new avatar!! And animation and surrounding scene!!! Thanks for telling about awesome features of my favorite engine. Will we see some of the old avatar in future videos?
I have so much to say here. First off, this is the first video of yours I absolutely love your avatar! It looks so cool! Second, this video is a lot of fun. Third, I don't know much about Gadot, but this, particularly because of the cell and table functions, seems like it is such a great and well implemented feature, and makes me want to learn a bit more about it. Finally... you have rich tags and call functions... and unclosed tags work the way they typically do... I'm just saying that this looks like potential prime real estate for code injection or just some other fun shenanigans, though a lot of those you already explored in the video. Love the video, and will definitely be subscribing! ❤️
Top notch production quality! Keep it up 👍
Fantastic video. Look forward to more!
Damn i love the new style :) That onhover hint will be very useful for debugging with prints :)
Thanks for coming back!
This is the funniest educational video on godot, or any game engine, that I've seen 😂
First off, that was hilarious! You did not disappoint! Secondly, I agree, that tooltip feature looks extremely useful. Thirdly, the production in this video was so polished and amazing!! I'm blown away. This is the first of your videos I've seen, and I subscribed right away. Helpful, interesting, and well put together. Thank you!
2:53 woah, ingame touhou 4 bad apple!!
I'm absolutely loving the new animation style !
Algorithm is starting to recommend this channel so congratulations
I love how much effort you put into your videos, keep it up
This seems like a really cool channel! Hope to see more from you soon!
Finally, when I'm debugging, godot can scream at me that I'm a failure.
Wow. The perspective change at the end, the Godot icon getting scared, great pacing, happy brain chemicals all the way through. FANTASTIC work Lucy! 🎨
i was more mesmorised by the animation than the video topic itself, IT'S SOO GOOD!! like i'm not sure ive seen such good animation in A LONG while. wow!
we missed you!!! i love your videos
If it wasn't for your video, I would never have discovered this, many thankss!
wow the new avatar is really cool, very sick glowup
God damn this was one of the quickest subscriptions of my life. Just seeing the animation style i knew immediately i need more
The presentation is amazing for something that goes into detail about a console window... and turns out that console now can become a presentation of its own
Your animation style is incredibly gorgeous, charming, and engaging. I dont even use Godot but i might subscribe just for that.
Awesome channel. I somehow subscribed without thinking about it.
omfg, your new model is so cuuuuuuute
My gosh. Good to see you back!
OH NO THE OLD AVATAR
Wow the animation so good!
dude this video goes hard, definitely subscribing lol
I thought this channel was really good, it gave me a lot of ideas to test in godot. keep posting videos.
WOW this new look is amazing!
You've got an awesome avatar! Well-animated, too!
3:22 ¡Yesss, we found out how that Windows Media Player visual works!
I'm actually excited to incorporate memes for my Debug Output to lift up the mood. However I'm still in Godot 3.5.3 because it still serves my purpose plenty.
super cool video concept :)
I like the new model. (I say this is if I’ve been watching your channel for more than today) hope to see some cool stuff
bro the animation's so cleeeeeaaaan wow
Im gonna have a little yippie play everytime my code works now
I’ll subscribe just promise me more videos like this. I love your style
So glad to see you again ^^
The New avatar model looks so cool, and the animation is nice
this video is great and im assuming that ending has some insane lore ill never know or care about
That outputting the viewport onto the console reminds me of something similar you can do with OBS. Although this is pretty useful for non-shitpost reasons as well
I like that people can always think out of the box.
