@@TheQC92 you gotta be joking . He was getting paid ~ 500k -600k the year he played with the mariners. vs a multi billion yen/ multi year deal in japan. He turned it down cause he said playing with ichiro would literally complete his dream since he played like him.
I love both these guys. This interviewer had such a nice friendship with Kawa. You can tell they really liked each other.
