I am not making this video to add fuel to the fire of the situation but more so because what's going on needs to be known. for the online drops... I waited til 6am PST, I made it in, I made it to check out, and they ever confirmed my order. Today, I woke up to a refund from funko and it's like, damn they created the label, but didn't even try to ship me my items 😂

I think this year's sdcc was a total mess. I didn't like how the pops weren't announced all at once and some of the stores didn't have any of the pops they were supposed to get.

I have a new issue from the online box. My Freddy as Spooky Space Kook came in with his head on backwards. When I took it out I was able to turn his head back the right way. Problem is his crown is in the wrong place and won't fit in the box. Also box was very damaged. At least I got glow green ranger and Dwight.

It’s going to make collectors wonder how much their collection is actually worth. The Trust in Funko is broken. Don’t think anything can repair it.😢

Same thing happened at the Mattel booth. I had a time QR from the lottery, but the earlier time and the standby line bought all the monster high dolls for the day. Someone at the booth told us to come back tomorrow and lineup in the standby line.

I can't get over the fact that behind your left ear, it looks like one of your pops is about to throw another pop off the ledge 😂😂

I miss out on the Box. But I when to Fun on the Run and got good stuff, Got to meet Mike Becker and he signed my chase Freddy.

Missed Gol D from the drop. Asked a random person from Distrackers to grab me one in Washington, and it's now on its way. Got everything else w/o issue.

I got a 6 inch blacklight Freddy as Bigfoot holding grogu and grogu is holding a bottle of tapatio and it’s amazing 😂

It was crazy trying to get a pop online. I was literally there with two other people to try to see if we could at least get one fairly odd parents, and before the page even loaded they were already sold out which really bummed me out because I usually don’t try to get the con pops, but I was able to purchase the Spider-Man Limited addition one and it arrived in perfect condition and very quick so that was good

Epic! Also, I didn’t go to the SDCC and neither did I try to get any of the pops besides the Fairly Odd Parents, which I didn’t get.

Online drop was horrible!! Never missed one until this year, and I was on there as soon as it dropped, and it never let me click submit order. What a sham!!!

This years SDCC was a hot mess in comparison to last year. I was lucky enough to receive my Gon pop in the mail but the window itself was damaged where as the box was intact. Idk how that could happen but idk if it’s worth emailing Funko about it if the pop itself isn’t damaged.

I can’t believe I missed it by 30 minutes

Also I think there’s a shortage on sorter boxes. I received an orders today and all of the pops were individually bubble wrap and thrown in to a huge box. Never seen Funko do this.

I wake up early most days and I'm on 10 to 15 minutes before I have my gf buy one and I buy the other to make sure I get both that I want it was crashing but within 10 minutes I was able to order my shiapouf and got the awakened gon

i’m worried about my sdcc online order, I ordered ds 2 pack and gon. I got an email 2 days ago saying it shipped but when i go to track is says the tracking number doesn’t exist.

My box hasn't even shipped yet man here's hoping I get one

The SDCC was not to bad got what I wanted I think 🤔 depending on want comes in box 📦 tomorrow. Fun Days BOF at home on the other hand was nightmare Me, & My Wife where in the Q at drop time & would not let us at all pay 💰 for the box 📦 at all.

I mean in my opinion the only difference is the sticker it could be if you attended the fun days you have the original fun days stickers were as if you purchased it at home you get the at home sticker so obviously the sun day’s original is gonna be the extra pricey pop and will go up in value we’re as the at home will be just like a $80 to $100 pop… I think they know what they were doing with the stickers

A Funko employee told me I was too late for my 12-1pm time slot even though I was there at 11:55. He told me to come earlier next time and didn’t let me lineup, he walked away and the employee holding the end of line sign was letting everyone with a time slot line up. He was definitely lying for no reason to us I don’t understand why

I feel like pushing the Fun on the Run Event and the Camp Fundays Event at the same time was kind of misleading. My Fun on the Run box was the same amount as the Camp Fundays boxes, and I feel like the value was not there at all comparatively. I even got the Freddy Funko as Reverse Flash Chase, and I still feel like the Fundays boxes were significantly better than Fun on the Run for the same price.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I personally tried to get Fundays tickets and Con tickets, and missed on both. Kind of glad I did in this case. How many times Funko can do this and not completely lose their collector fanbase? I feel horrible for folks like yourself who went through the hoops to get a ticket, waited in the heat with the crappy food, and then got excited about product that lost its value (both financial and sentimental) a few days after you got home.

The situation with the Gon pop and people not getting their orders reminded me that the same thing happened with the Muichiro drop. After being lucky enough to snag one right before it sold out on the website, they ended up sending me the wrong pop (the Green Ranger Shredder from the same con) and had to pay resale, and from what I saw there were multiple other people that had the same thing happen. Super sucks for people who wanted that exclusive to get screwed over by an error at Funko.

They should really give those people priority on the next restock since its a pretty big inconvenience thats entirely their fault. They create the scarcity and make you be there the second the drop happens if you want to have a chance at the pop. You do that, actually manage to order it, and then once its long out of stock you end up with the completely wrong product. Feels like just a refund isn't enough, but I know theres not a ton they can do about replacing out of stock pops.

Multi-dollar company sandwich, wow sad that they treat not only (as perceived) customers, but actually big fans who attended. 😑

i feel like its such a mess cuz now none of the pop at funday and at home are now no longer rare now they are normal freddy funko and to just take care of the fans at fundays is wrong on the fact that they all have the same sku the at home should get something done as well even if they take a hit its a lose they can take as fans and collector we make them millions

Sdcc was mixed for me this year, I got lucky and was one of the firsts to get in Popcultcha for the que, but unfortunately they didn't have adult Gon in the drop😢 and cultcha is the only place shipping Sdcc exl. To Israel so I have to pay extra for resell... At least I got my Gol D. Roger thought 😅

Just got my SDCC pops and everyone of them was damaged because they weren’t shipped in shippers. They only had loose bubble wrap and the pops were just bouncing around in the box. Super disappointing.

for the eric draven mess, i think i know what happened. They released 3 eric draven pops, 2 commons, 1 exclusive. Both commons sold out, but the exclusive did not. So, I'm guessing they gave people those pops and would give them Gon after messaged PURPOSEFULLY, so that they could get rid of some stock, and not have to throw it away

They messed up my order instead of sending me my box of fun they sent me a Gon. I haven’t heard back from them yet. Pretty sure I’m screwed.

They couldn’t sell them at fun days so they put them in the box for online sale… we all know it.. Funko is very underhanded real collectors know. They do stuff like this all the time and will continue to till the go out of business.

SDCC was bad this year. The Funko site crashed right at 9 and when it fixed the Fairly Odd Parents pop was gone. Not to mention the one Meijer I went to near by didn’t have the pop yet and is probably only going to get 2 in stock. It’s going to be an expensive grail sadly

My online order shipped like 4 days ago but says that the label was created & there’s no delivery date 😭

For the SDCC online drop the only thing I was able to get was Awaken Gon cause I didn’t have much money for this drop so all I was able to afford is Awaken Gon but if I did have the money I needed for the pops I wanted it would have been Awaken Gon, Gol D. Rodger Wanted Poster, and Fairy Odd Parents 3 Pack but like I said sadly I couldn’t get all of them either way I doubt I’d get the Gol D. Rodger Wanted Poster and Fairy Odd Parents 3 Pack but it still would’ve been nice to at least have a chance if I had the money but I’m still happy I got Awaken Gon especially since I only paid $12 for him cause of my Funko Reward Points so I’m still happy I got 1 of the Pops I really wanted

I cant remember the last good con/event Funko has had at this point. People should just expert them to have some kind of issues like its a tradition at this point.

Today I received my box of trash box(peacekeeper, storm shadow and shaggy flocked) I ordered nozel Silva but instead I received a Jessica rabbit soda. I’ve absolutely have had it with Funko europe. I finally get through the queue and then I don’t get my pop🤬🤬🤬

It might not be Funkos problem when people pay high money but I’m pretty sure it breaks false advertisement laws when you lie and say something limited to 250 pieces but it’s actually 2250 pieces. And you might say they didn’t sell the pops at the event but the at home boxes were sold and the description said 500 - 5000 but those pieces that are 5000 if they have a pop at the event that made them higher then 5000 that’s false advertising

This is my second sdcc collecting funkos and I haven’t had any problems and hopefully I don’t ever 😢

I was annoyed and shocked Nozel silva sold out at the funko booth at SDCC within minutes 😑

Seem Funko need to hire a better PR team and event organizer. I don't try to buy right away. Just buy it from someone else.

guess we are better collecting only the stickers , Funko can give up the figure production, that would be much cheaper for them, we only need the freakin Stickers...

alot of these issues are just nitpicking/ blown out of proportion. This was probably the best event that Funko threw ever apart from the sticker situation. Those people complaining about the Food need to realize you don't go to event for Food. If that's an issue then eat beforehand. Your there for the Free stuff, exclusives and entertainment.

Sending out so many wrong orders is a major issue for any business. Agree with you on the food and other random stuff but it’s just sad that their shipping logistics team is so weak.

I think they should offer this years attendees early access to buy fundays tickets next year... funko doesnt lose anything and im sure the fans will be happy... i wonder what will happen with those who attended as plus ones?

DAMN that sandwich makes me think Funko is a small chain trying to move like a big franchise it can all be a lie at this point and anything is possible..

As someone who bought a 250 piece hopper for not cheap before it was revealed he was in at home boxes, I'm pretty frustrated. It's not funkos problem with people spending large dollar amounts on a limited item, but it IS there problem when they mark a product as exclusive and/or limited to 250 pieces when there's really 2750 of them. The mindset when buying a 250 piece pop versus 2500 piece one are very different. People pay those high dollar amounts because they are told/advertised to that it's limited to 250. Worst part is l don't know how funko can really make it up to those people who paid high like myself. Very very big mess up. I couldn't attend fundays and as far as I was aware originally, the only Hopper funkos were both in person only. Just very frustrating man!

I agree with you there. No one would have had to pay as much for Freddy Hoppper if it was labeled correctly here, so that isn't okay. Hopefully, me making this video will get them more aware of how people are feeling. I would be just as upset as you if I paid that much and found out the truth later.

@@SkittleRampage Absolutely. I didn't ridiculously overpay, so I'm not stressing too hard. I also just love ST so I was gonna get hopper regardless, just paid a bit more than I wanted lol. If I had pulled him in my online box I would've been more frustrated, but I didn't. Really curious as to how they'll fix it and not to mention: how exactly they'll determine who went to fundays and such. Some people bought tix and flipped them to second hand buyers. Would feel very bad for those second hand buyers if they don't get anything out of it

I don't care much about those boxes 'coz I'm not a fan of Freddo ... I do like 2 pops of him tho. Freddy as Darth Maul is epic (not a SW fan) and the other one is Freddy as the Grim reaper (digital) About the boxes this year. The pops ain't that cool if you ask me. Maybe just Genji (100) is cool looking. Idk anything about ... Overwatch, right? About the other issue ... that's fun to watch. Is the pop 500 or 4000 pcs? :D Noone knows haha Maybe they are 4000 and just added 500 to the event with new sticker :D 'Coz they were lazy to meke 500 different pops like Freddy as Darth Vader.

Im more disappointed in how such a large portion of the community is trying to say this is not a big deal. Ive heard every argument and every one of them is incredibly brain dead. Thats why funko feels like they can just lie to their most loyal customers, the ones that attend fundays and really anyone who enjoys limited piece count pops. And there is no way this was an accident, if you think about it for more than 2 seconds making an additional 2000 pops and different stickers seems pretty intentional. maybe some people need to get fired or something.

SDCC and fundays as god awful. sdcc exclusives were mid at best, nothing im crazy for or would really want to go out of my way and sit through a funko shop website crash over and over again. when i comes to fundays i wasnt able to secure a box despite my brother and gf helping out too. crazy that we went 0-3
