It's too bad that the kind Martin died and the criminal Martin we know lived a new life without paying the consequences of his crimes.

one of the best character arcs in the show. we’re led to believe martin is just a deadbeat dad until Islands turns everything we thought we knew about him upside down. it’s so unfair he lost himself after finally changing his ways to settle down with his family ☹️ even sadder knowing he tried to tell minerva the truth, and her never finding out what happened to him or finn until years later

Well finn's dad life is one of the most sad but interesting so far On the islands he was a con artist who tried to get to day to day and trying to help hiders Then after Susan breaks his legs and fell in love with minvera and after nine months they have finn After being lost at sea and having a bloodi spot on his head and suffering memory loss then tree trunks alien husband took Martin and he's adventure in space started After some years past works with hugo than lost an space whatever he did got into the cindital and saw finn and Jake Martin and finn don't reunion as loving father and son relationship it's probably complicated if Martin feels guilt for abandoning finn or just avoiding him entirely With Martin exploring in space until the purple comet came and Martin goes for the next plain of existence Alternate world Martin being a good person was to good to be true but exactly what every fan wanted to be a good dad to finn

I think that Martin is going to be the next Catalyst Comet. Expect a red comet to show up in the era of Shermy and Beth

The story that Matin told Finn about how he was born and why they separated sounded like it was made up and didn't make sense, but in the end it was mostly true, including the part about the tiger.

I never knew that mr M was Martin

I like the idea that Martin reincarnated into Shermy. It’s a stretch, but I imagine Martin just needed someone in his life that stuck with him, loved him and guided him and that’s what Shermy has.

Vampire Martin is wearing the same outfit as The Visitor and doesn't recognise Baby Finn at all so I think that his past is mostly the same

I just feel bad for mertens family Martin really love his family and we can see some scene that he got degree and really take care of his family he wasnt trying to leave the island but the storm caused it but the past keeps chasing him until when he realize everything that is too late
