I found it terribly discouraging as a new person watching resellers sourcing stuff for really really cheap and bragging about how much money they make. There simply are no cheap thrift stores where I live and even the bins have nothing much of value. It’s all pulled. But you are one of only 3 I continue to watch. I love your positivity and how you share difficult times here and there. So thanks!

Loved this! What you mentioned about “there’s always more to do” is the very thing that caused me to apply for a 9-5 a few weeks ago. I LOVE reselling and the flexibility it provides. I’ve been full time for about a year and a half - but the mental weight is something I don’t want to carry in this season. Everything has its pros & cons, and maybe I’ll return to doing it full time - but I am looking forward to clocking in & out without the responsibility of the company’s success being on my shoulders 😂 God’s grace for every situation in every season 💕

What I do to keep happy and content is to enjoy the small "mountains" or "hills" I completed. Even if I get through half a chore, I call that a success and that part completed. I never call what I complete small steps even. They are successes. It makes for lower blood pressure and more smiles on my face. Hugs, Bekah!

My rule is if someone sells a course or has subscriptions or has a patreon… I don’t listen to what they report are their sells because it’s just not the truth many times. There are people that their job is KZread disguised as a reseller so they have to look successful

I know what you mean, sometimes I go through a slow period and think, should I just take everything to a the donation center and forget about it, but then I’ll get an unexpected sale of something that has been listed forever or sell something within 5 minutes of listing. Knowing that someone got something they really wanted that I found is satisfying. And also, I DO enjoy hunting for goodies and like learning from people like you. It can be daunting when you see the Hustle at Home mom who makes $1000’s all the time…but she does spend a huge amount as well.

I think there’s a reason why people don’t mind talking about their accomplishments, but also are hesitant when it comes to talking about their downfalls and issues in their life is because they are praised for their good things that they’re able to accomplish but you get a negative stigma and a lot of Just bad people talking about you and saying bad things about you because you’re admitting there is a problem and that you’re not perfect. It opens up the lines of communication for people to then basically attack you so people are hesitant and are really fearful of admitting when they’re having problems because they don’t want that judgment, and that just bad energy that people tend to cast on those. It goes back to kick them when they’re down, you can’t kick somebody standing up because they’re strong they can fight back. You can kick someone when they’re down because they’re already at a weakened state whether it be emotionally physically whatever. Personally, I feel like people need to talk more about the problems in their lives so that other people can feel OK about the fact that they might have that same problem you’re not alone a lot of people feel alone in their issues and I really wish that the social stigma allowed for people to admit when things are not perfect

And I don’t think that you Rebecca, as a reseller should compare yourself to anybody and feel bad, because not only are you doing amazing for yourself and your family but you’re also out here helping other people which takes extra time out of that business so it if you feel like your business is lacking that may very well be true but it’s OK because you’re spending energy trying to help others trying to do what you need to do to put forth the information that people need that takes a lot of time out of anybody’s day to to just do those things and it’s very selfless that you are willing to take the chance of sacrificing a little piece of your business in order to help others. Don’t feel bad about that please like don’t feel like you’re failing because you’re accomplishing more than other peoples accomplish just because you’re doing two things you’re not just reselling like a lot of those people who follow you and watch you. You basically have two jobs so it’s OK if one of them is not at its max capacity that’s perfectly all right because at the end of the day we are just humans.

This past early spring into early summer I went thru my 2 stall garage that is full of inventory. I went thru pretty much every storage tote 1 by 1 and sorted out stuff that wasn't worth my time that I knew wouldn't bring much after PM fee's. I think I ended up with 5 or 6 mini van loads of stuff, I just donated to a Church thrift store. It felt really good to free up the extra space to get to my listed inventory easier to have those more organized. Also sometime early in the summer I started not worrying about having a bright white photo room back ground for my items that I didn't have stock photo's for . That has helped so much having one less thing to spend time worrying about. I also started including photo measurements instead of taking them writing them down & having to type them up in every listing. People seem to like being able to see the measurements themselves. Helps cut down on listing time or even listing errors if I'd happen to type in the incorrect measurement due to listing fatigue. I even started re doing old listings by re taking pics so I can include those measurements pics to have my current faux rustic wood background, so my listing are starting to look more consistent scrolling thru my closet. Seems to be helping because re-done older items that weren't selling are starting to sell.

I love your videos and your transparency. Reselling as a source of income to support your family is HARD work!!! My test tip is to develope a routine/schedule and treat it like a JOB. The flexibility of reselling lends itself to a slide in routine and consistency. Both of which are essential to financial success and emotional/mental well being. For me, the “feeling of being productive/caught up” outweighs the high of thrifting/sourcing. Good point about keeping items you bought when you first started and would you buy them now!!! Let’em go…you’ve got some fabulous and profitable inventory!!!!!😊

As a virgo you have to build a business to make a business. It takes hard work. I just sold something from last year big profit. But if I hadn't listed it it wouldn't been sold. An you just moved. I look at other people selling too. Sales are down people are struggling. Your house looks amazing by the way. I look at other people how much inventory they have I have 900 items. They have like 2000 to 6000. . That alot to store I think we get hard on ourselves. There real rude at are bins pucked over before getting us too look at. Your doing fine.😊😊
