These wonderful people were not only heroes through the pandemic, they have been heroes way, way before that. They have kept this old codger alive for more than 10 years. Bless them all. My wife is a nurse and I am so proud of them all. Shout out for all the boys and girls at the Headland and Sunrise cancer units in Cornwall......

Turns out I was actually correct... he is Paul Wilkins and is a West End Performer but worked in a supermarket on night shifts during the pandemic... he has played Marius from Les Mis perfect for that role... I look forward to hopefully seeing one of his shows... an amazing voice 👍

I don't think this group would even be in the semi finals if they weren't frontline workers. Don't get me wrong, what they do as a profession is amazing and they're definitely the most essential workforce, but that's the only reason they've made it this far. The singing is decent, but it's nothing special.. and there have been a ton of singing acts that didn't make it to the semi finals who were incredible and far more talented. It seems like they're given a huge push simply based on their profession, when they should be judged purely on singing ability. If they dressed normal and didn't mention their job, I don't even think they would have made it past the audition.. the lady who's singing at the beginning of this video can barely even hit her notes. The winner of BGT should be someone who displays an incredibly skill, not someone who works an important job that can kind of sing. Sympathy acts ruin the essence of the show in my opinion. Not hating, just giving my 2 cents!

Correct 👍 don't get me wrong there are good and bad in any job can't do with out them for sure but some are not all involved 100 percent I've had lots of problems with them in past with my mom home care not turning up getting things wrong ending up in hospital and they don't do loads of hours if they do a 12 hour day for 4 days they take a few days off but we can't live with out them but like any job there's good and bad in it some nurses was really nasty to my mom in hospital who don't care and keep playing on the sentimental songs to get somewhere sorry but there not very talented to get through

I'm sorry, but to be honest, this performance isn't my cup of tea... there's nothing special for the choirs for the key workers [especially the NHS] who worked hard during the pandemic and come to bgt for singing in a huge message for hope, and for me, it didn't feel right at all... I also don't like their voices, they sounded too flat...
