Amazing video, probably the best mapping video of the Napoleonic Wars on the internet. The fact that you added small details that are often forgotten, like the creation of the General Confederation of the Kingdom of Poland, or the fact that the French Empire was called "French Republic" untill 1809, is amazing. Keep up the good work. You have a new sub.

This is Peak content! You outdone everyone else. My only concern is that you depicted the Habsburg Monarchy as if it was only "Austria", which isn't correct. How did I just find this masterpiece now? Man, you literally showed everything: The alliances, flags and names of belligerents (even of countries outside the Napoleonic Wars), major cities, rivers, important naval battles, the sieges, ALL dates, important events, and even casualties! I also like the zooming animation at 15:29. Music choice is great too, you'll get the feeling at 14:35 that everyone betrays and wants revenge on Napoleon, who is on a last desperate stand. I also wonder how long it took to draw all the HRE borders (I'm pretty sure it was a nightmare). This is amazing! The amount of detail you put in this is better than I can do! And im good at mapping. This is so underrated, good work. This better have 500k views by the time it’s December. Then you drew the entire HRE, you now inspired me, ima do a photo stop motion Timelapse from 1792 to 2023 in FULL detail. But can you give me a tip on what do I do about the HRE? Ima draw every last micro state but what do I do if HRE is in a war? Do I make them a color or do I just completely ignore the HRE? Also sorry to barge you, but if you need a project to work on, please do the July Revolution, there is absolutely no mapping on that whatsoever, so maybe you can be the first.

Thank you. For the Holy Roman Empire I basically had it coloured lightly because it was tied to the Austrian crown (archduke of Austria was holy Roman emperor) but in 1793, the Holy Roman Empire declared “imperial war” on France so it was coloured accordingly. If certain states in the Holy Roman Empire declare war, colour them and if the Holy Roman Empire itself declares war colour it

So in my mapping, sorry for being difficult, but what should I do for HRE? Dark color for puppet state or red? Or a occupied territory

Batman mapping’s Napoleonic wars was a very good video, and shows many often inaccurately depicted frontlines in a much better way (for example the invasion of Russia - he was the first to show it properly). I can say he definitely did a better job with the German states than I did, but his critical flaw was the 1814 campaign which he overlooked, depicting the allies steamrolling into France. The reality is they struggled alot and there were several back and forths as shown in my video

Not necessarily a compliment, but an idea. “Napoleonic Revival” Similar to the plot of the movie “Look who’s Back!” Where Hitler comes back to life and takes trips around Northern Germany, (Focused on Prussia). Instead Napoleon, suddenly comes back to life somewhere in Paris, because, you know, his casket is in Paris. in perfect 30 year old condition. He gains attraction around Paris in days, he gathers a small army. Marches around north western France, him and his army spread while doing so. Then, when they opened his casket for the first time for suspicious reasons, they discover his remains are no where to he found. French Citizens here about this, and many places around France choose sides. France breaks into Civil War, but since this wouldn’t be considered an act of external war and instead an internal war, Article 5 is not activated. So Nations can choose to join. Then you can probably imagine what happens next, 3 words, “Conquest across Europe”. Napoleon is crowned again, unless no. But Napoleons reign is definitely reborn. This isn’t a movie but instead a mapping idea similar to this masterpiece of a video! Please reply.
