It's the sensible centrist position to not want to become a hated minority in your own homeland.

I will give you that. But what do you recommend in terms of actions, to not "become a hated minority in your own country". France just has an unrestricted immigration problem. But I would say france deserves every bit of it. If france wasn't so adamant to hold on to mirage of its dead empire. Their political elites have to come to terms that the days when Europe was confident and capable of managing and governing the freaking whole world is over. It can now barely manage and govern within its own shores. The true and only workable policy for European right is to go into isolationism. The empires are over, the new world order is over, the western universalism isn't manageable anymore, European economies are going to stagnate while rest of the worlds are going to grow. I, a non-european would whole heartedly welcome europe keeping its sh*t to europe and not push its fever dreams on whole humanity. Stop immigration. Take your millitary bases and action off from our lands. Focus on policies inside your own shores. Just do old school silk route trade with us, exchange goods and bring catholic Ch*rch back to france, if it helps. The circle of karma is kinda crazy, isn't it? The legacy of french empire in north africa, indo-china and almost every continent is now a headache for french nationalists, oh the historical irony of that. And the coming resentment of that, that will now be evident pretty soon. Europe is now applying blatant trade restrictions on non-western trading partners, particularly china, while just some decades ago it was a crusading force for opening markets and trade all over the globe. Since 2008, hardly any European economy has shown any significant growth and since 2008 European right has shown pretty significant growth. It is so fascinating how different factors couple and interact to generate political possibilities and ideas, but always in guise of some political philosophy.

@@thadtuiol1717so I would like to understand how we assess this criminality. In the US, criminality statistics are massively improving. In France, it depends on category, but high level it is not very different from the 80s. I am curious how to interpret this. Is it that the statistics are biased? Or are they missing something? And if so, how do you assess criminality? Personal feeling? My family live in a very normal middle class suburb of Paris and we don’t have any feeling of “fear of death”, despite a very high increase in Arab immigrants. I don’t have any issue with that and enjoy the high increase in kebab shop. Do you have any stats or is it feeling, convos with friends, etc.

Breton people are human. Their natural mother tongue would be Breton, a dialect of Welsh. Yet French is obligatory in all forms of life. No legal contract may be written in Breton, Catalan or Basque, only French. These languages may not be taught in school. Macron signed and constructional law maintaining the ban on these languages, despite the French parliament voting to reintroduce them into school. Yes Macron is an example of denying human rights. So. They vote La Pen.

I live in a pretty small town in the UK. It’s become very obvious of late that more and more migrants are arriving. Eastern Europeans have been here for decades, particularly poles. But now, there is a stark increase in sub Saharan Africans. For now, there are little problems but let’s see what happens as those numbers increase. We’re heading towards zero hour for Europe and Europeans.

And that posh area experience of that woman in your opening is very recent compared to the almost State of Nature level intimidation and ethnic gang violence that much poorer citizens have endured since the 1980s (Australia anyway), yet who were called racists for complaining about (mass heroin dealing, cultural 'wall of silence' with police since too intimidated by violent ethnic drug gangs, assassinations on local politicians etc). I wouldn't be surprised if that women would have called those poorer citizens "racists" for making the same complaint she is now, only before she had phenomenologically experienced for herself. That's one of the most wicked things about the middle class.

Trump will continue to support Netanyahu’s genocide in Gaza financially and militarily, even more than genocide Joe has. Trump said let him finish the job. Do not fool yourself that a President alone has the power to end the dictatorship of the rich, financial colonialism, and imperialism. There is no way Trump will separate the U.S. from Israel.

“The Jew living under Nazism is the privileged negative referent of the new biopolitical sovereignty and is, as such, a flagrant case of a homo sacer in the sense of a life that may be killed but not sacrificed. His killing therefore constitutes neither capital punishment nor a sacrifice, but simply the actualization of a mere ‘capacity to be killed’ inherent in the condition of the Jew as such. The truth-which is difficult for the victims to face, but which we must have the courage not to cover with sacrificial veils-is that the Jews were exterminated not in a mad and giant holocaust but exactly as Hitler had announced, ‘as lice,’ which is to say, as bare life [zoe]. The dimension in which the extermination took place is neither religion nor law, but biopolitics Giorgio Agamben, Homo Sacer: Sovereign Power and Bare Life, trans. by Daniel HellerRoazen.
