Simple to understand but so very profound, as with all Derek's teachings. Not taught in most churches. Most church members are spiritually starving. I know. I'm 73 and served as minister of music in numerous churches in my career. I was always pressured to keep people happy and involved, with little (or no) regard for the members spiritual development. How very, very sad.

God Bless you Alan, I stand with you and your presentations. Being a musician and songwriter myself, I too have moments of pride and have been greatly out of balance and have fallen short, but we have His Grace and His Blood and it is sufficient. God willing we change to His will when we humble ourselves to admit our wrongdoing. God Bless everyone, we are still alive, every day is a gift. I think there is a great awareness that the days are coming soon that our redemption draws near.

The words of repentence: LORD, I believe that Jesus died on the cross as my personal representative. He wore all my guilt, all my sins, all my shame and all my condemnation. He died in my place and he rose from the dead. Because i believe this, your word tells me that the righteousness of Christ is now imputed into me and i recieve it now as a free gift. Not by struggling, not by striving, but by believing. I believe in my heart and declare with my mouth that through faith in Christ I am justified, made righteous just as i never sinned. Thank you LORD! Thank you Alan for putting this wonderful message up!

Foolishness.... Christ sets us free from sin so we can be faithful to obey his commandments. Unless you are righteous by faithful obedience to the truth or you'still lost in sin. A sinners prayer is not biblical. Repentance towards God proven by deeds and faithful obedience to Christ is the only way to eternal life. Nobody gets righteousness imputed to them, righteousness is what you do, its how you live. It's sad to know that Derek never understood what the covenant in Christ was. Deeds of the law is circumcision and rituals, not obedience to the law by faithfulness. Don't be deceived, he who does what is right is righteous as Christ is righteous... 1st John.

Lord Jesus, only You know how true this message is for me, how long I wandered in a false church of works and idolatry until I was exhausted and despairing. Thank You for Your cross, Your terrible and wonderful sacrifice, for Your death, for Your resurrection; the Master of the Universe died in the stench of my sins that I might have eternal life. I love You, dear One, please keep me close to You and Your Word. This was an amazing video, amazing...thank you for posting.

***** I searched for more Derek Prince videos and am watching those, I am being greatly blessed by them. It is difficult for me sometimes to discern sound teaching so I appreciate your posting these. I also listened to many of Leonard Ravenhill and Charles Lawson, wonderful, passionate. These men of God encourage me in the Bible which I love more each day. May the Lord Jesus bless you, Alan.

Why didn't i hear the gospel like this at 14 yr old as a new Christian. I wasted my time striving so hard to be good enough for God, when righteousness is free not worked for & forgiveness is undeserved. You dont need to clean yourself up first to receive salvation.

This is true, but once you receive salivation the Holy Spirit goes to work on you, to clean you up. God doesn't save us to live in sin, he saves us to free us from sin. Being free from sin, is also a gift. You get free by believing that sin was already defeated. When you go through Temptations and trials without sinning, your faith just becomes stronger. It is all by faith and it was all accomplished at the cross.

I accept this gift by faith. If when I die I no longer exist, I lose nothing because there is nothing to lose. However if there is an afterlife my faith in Yehoshua as my righteousness by faith will save me. By believing you lose nothing.

i was raised catholic...i learned the names Jesus, Lord, and God in catechism...neither this name or terms felt righteous to me as a small child...i wondered why when the priest uttered the name Jesus, it made me kind of shudder. i'm certain i was not possessed by a demon...Something else was going on, as if the Spirit was communicating to me something i had to keep in mind for the future. It is the same with the other two terms. What do you think about these names that emerged out of the Great Harlot during the Dark Ages? Do you think it is time to dispense with them? i do...& i did...much further down the road, i discovered that many others, but not THAT many, felt the same way. Now i feel that prophecy regarding this topic of the restoration of the names, is being fulfilled and it is growing. i stopped using them and replaced them with the Hebrew names...i feel better dropping the one that stands for Ba'al. And, yes, i know that they both mean husband, as well. Ishi is the title He said He prefers. i just call Him Creator, usually. or the first syllable of His name, which is the least controversial, YAH. Because most of the difference and variables is in the last syllable. i am trying to honor Them and yet have harmony with those who still use the catechism terms/name. When i learned from the Book of Hanok that the devil's ancient name was GADre'el; the more modern one being Lucifer, it made sense, because it is pronounce GODre'el...it made even more sense, because GAD was the fortune deity who said, "I will give you worldly wealth (mammon) if you bow down and worship me." i was very glad i stopped using the term "GOD" after finding that out. After that i learned that the occult use this term for the one that they worship. i learned that Jesus does not mean YAH is salvation. But, it is rather meaningless unless you break it into syllables Je sus. Je = earth and SUS = swine...that turned me off, so much, when i found this out...i stopped using this name and began to use the Hebrew name, which has the legitimate meaning, YAH is Salvation; beautiful... Another fact that occurred to me is that this mostly Greek name honors the idol Zeus, as many masculine, Greek names do. Many male Hebrew names honor the Creator, YaHUaH. i like the more ancient sounding name for our Creator. And the last factor i discovered about the name i learned as a catholic. The letter J is young. It was not used in Scripture until pretty much modern times, so the name "Jesus" was NOT the name Messenger Gabriel told to Miryam & Yoseph, which makes it rather a lie. It tells me that it is a distinct possibility that the adversary has been manipulating the names and titles in Scripture for a very long time. Perhaps even to his own purposes of stealing false worship for himself, because, after all, he is twisted with his own pride. A megalomaniac for attention. He IS a type of swine, so the name Jesus is rather suitable... i believe that human beings have been reforming writings and terms for years... i believe that it is very possible to change EVERYTHING in a VERY short time. When i was young and in the catholic system. i had a hard time with the names. i prayed for years and years for some reform in regard to them. When i was 51 i had an epiphany after meditating on agape love for weeks. i was taken up by the Spirit. The Ruach HaKodesh. i was shown some amazing revelation. A feeling a perfect love cast out all fear within me. i felt the gracious, kind, love of the Father and Son. When i returned, i was not the same. My family upon returning from an extended camping trip (i stayed behind to tend an organic garden) noticed i was not the same after a few days. My agenda changed COMPLETELY. It was not about me anymore. It was about YaHUsHa. i received instruction for a full body immersion; one that i had never received. It unfolded with GREAT loveliness. i didn't know how i was to go about it since i had left the church as a teen after seeing demons. So i had to ask a few questions...how was i to do this without being a member of an actual denomination? There was a way, and YAH showed me. A friend of both my husband and me said he would officiate. He was Messianic, so it felt right. He gave me a book called Fossilized Customs, which i consider an answer to prayer about the names i had...i was immersed on Shabbat of 7/7/07 at Dillon (Loyal) Creek - perfect! i was so happy that i have such a caring Abba! He led me into the beauty of His Rest. Aqua-blue, crystal clear water, in a rocky canyon. Gorgeous! i was immersed in the name of YaHUsHa! HalleluYAH! All i really want to do is Honor Him, by using names so beautiful, meaningful and harmonious. i can live with others using them, but i have to leave them behind...i see that it is a gift to me personally...and i have met a few others who feel the same. The Spirit led me here for reasons i don't know...maybe you do...i have never heard of you before this night. B'rachot & Shalom

Dear Sister, if we are introduced to HIM as Jesus then that is ok. I have prayed for the sick in Jesus name and God has healed them so I am sure God is ok with it. However, the word for 'name'. Means in the power of, and with the authority of..... This brings a whole new level to the name of Jesus.

Relax or work out your Salvation with fear and trembling? What a contradiction!!’
