THE FRAGRANT HARBOUR - HONG KONG 1978
This fascinating video shows 'The Fragrant Harbour' (Hong Kong) as it was in 1978 with some outstanding views of the boat people in Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong Trams, Market scenes, Junks, the Peak Tram and spectacular views from the Peak. This enthralling documentary was originally filmed in Super 8 and digitised to 4K in 2023. This video was filmed and scripted by George 'Squibs' Raby and the commentary was spoken by Olive Raby. Both sadly passed away in 2007.

Very well done and loved everything about it. As a child visiting HK in the 1970s this brings back so many happy memories, this was a great time to live and a great place to live. Loved the traditional music, of course, and the narration, so British!! I have not been back since the 1980s and now things are so different under China's control. The memories will always however be there and this short video was a blessing. Many thanks for this
