The Four Temperaments - How to assess people quickly

What do the four temperaments reveal about you and your fellow human beings? The four-temperament model can help you to understand yourself as well as every person you meet.
What does a person focus on? What motivates him or her? What are his or her defence mechanisms? We will tell you in this video!
The temperament theory exists for over 2000 years. At first, it was part of humoral pathology in ancient medicine. It no longer plays any role in medical matters. Its psychological significance is all the greater. Because of its precision and simplicity, it is still as up to date and effective as ever and forms the basis of many other classification systems.
The four temperaments are: the sanguine, the choleric, the melancholic and the phlegmatic.

    I've known for a long time I was a strong choleric but I forgot about it for several years. Not long ago I had KZread playing on the TV while I was on the computer in the bedroom, fighting on Facebook. In the middle of hunting shows this thing comes up about the choleric so I rewound it and watched several different videos about that temperament and that's what brought me to your video. I took kind of a long test to see what percentages I was it mine came up 81% choleric, 19% sanguine

    Why you act the way you do: particular temperment (inborn traits that affect behavior) More extroverted: Sanguine- (easy/outgoing, fun, friendly, spotlight, changing subject, distractions) popular. Chlroric- (practical , productive, optomestic, decisive, take charge, agressive ) powerful. More Introverted: Malonclony- (disciplined, exact, procision, gifted, arts/music, desprate/devosion) perfect. Plegmatic- (calm, funny, trease, mimic, dependable, habit, ignoring) peaceful.

    Hello Audrelou, thank you for your comment. The concept of the four temperaments was developed in the context of ancient medicine, but nowadays it must be seen independently of its medical roots. The system was established by the doctor Hippocrates through the "oath of Hippocrates" We hope this answer is helpful for you. Best wishes from the HeroThink Team.

  • @herothinkpsychologicofsucc3143

    @herothinkpsychologicofsucc3143

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hello InnerProp, thanks for your comment. That is certainly true, but the temperament of the sanguine also belongs to the element air. The sanguine is a light-hearted guy. The temperament of the choleric is associated with the fire, as his blood rushes quickly, so red is here the erfect color.. It is important not to take over the assignments literally and simply assign them inregards to the translation, but it is important to understand how the temperaments behave. We hope this is understandable for you? All the best from the HeroThink Team.
