I am an S type, and often i can see and read that people find me boring, but the real ones know how that i have a good heart. It’s just frustrating that people judge me too quickly thinking that i’m not capable when i’m just holding back because i want others to have a chance in the spotlight.

Thank you for sharing! Every type has its strengths and weaknesses. As an S type, you are amazing at building long-term relationships and communities. Like you said, the right people will connect with you. Regarding the spotlight: Even though you're S, you can and should sometimes jump in the spotlight. Even though I'm ID, it doesn't mean that I shouldn't work on becoming a little more consistent (even though it's not my biggest strengths). Hope this helps a little ;)

I am an S and C, married to an off the charts D… can be very challenging when he wants change at the drop of a hat and I drag my feet , but is rewarding when we are able to talk things through and be creative together.

D/SC as a consultant professional engineer. Learning this highlighted the good balance the D brings with being results-driven, with the SC, being able to take a moment to really reflect on the solution me and my team develop.

Great video! As senior project manager obviously I'm D type but my best wingman was S type as the guy who could connect to everyone... even to other jerks like me. :) Amazing combination actually. My strengths was his weakness and his strengths was my weakness. Explosive vs. Stable, Agressive vs. Caring, etc.

I was paid to get a job done but work has turned into a social outing where people come to work to talk and decorate and gossip. Those that come to work to do a job and go home are looked down on, we are rude and don't talk really they are mad we don't listen to them talk. I don't leave my house for 8 hours a day to come listen to another person tell their stories or to decorate the office I just need to do my job, collect my pay and go home. Some people need a social work life and those people need to partner up and leave us alone that just came in to do a job....so what type is that?

I came across this comment looking for videos on DISC. Our company set up a meeting in June. I just want to go to work get paid and go home. All these forces interactions, gatherings omg I have a life outside.

We use it heavily in Mary Kay training programs. I retake the test every few years because it will change. It has really helped me to learn how to approach people and communicate better.

As the author of the last paper on DISC, i am also I,S,C ;) Crying out load.

Just took a disc assessment and was C/D, weighted on the C side, I’m compassionate and understanding when it comes to employees though but not necessarily other people. And as far as “I” goes, I don’t make friends, people make friends with me

I took the test a number of years ago and I was extremely high C with a secondary S, and almost no I or D. I probably have changed since that time since I have grown in confidence and leadership, but I'm certainly high C through and through.

Due to life circumstances and demands, and many things I've been gone through ,it seems that personality changes.regardless of your own nature or family forcing you to be someone of certain type because of themselves being like that. From that brief explanation,looks like I am D and C type,with a few S characteristics...:) Maybe more C now,but I do have an inclination for D ... But,Angelina as dominant person,Elen as "warm"...hilarious...

Surprisingly I'm an DI type which just about sums me up!

I am an ENFJ (Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Maya Angelou, & Bill Gates) with Myers Briggs, Peacock (Dolly Parton, Elton John, Kevin Hart. & Hugh Jackman) with Relationship Strategies, & Si (Julie Andrews, Nelson Mandela, Alecia Keyes, & Clint Eastwood) with DiSC. I truly enjoy learning about everyone's personality! #Blessed

I just had my DISC test and the result is : D & I are equally dominant 67%. S-60%. C- 57%. But i think am a bit introvert. I dont want to talk to people longer. Though I really want achievements, results. And sometimes I like to connect to others then I cancelled it day after😅 Though for I type, I only have few friends.

For the past 15 years, I have really worked on changing my personality to include all of these traits. I could honestly say that I can be all of these in one single day. The only specific one that isn't my strongest or I may still lack the most is "D". I can be a D when it comes to work 100%. Although, outside of work and amongst family and friends, I am not a D bag... I mean D. Even when it comes to introvert and extrovert. I am a mixture of both. A higher percentage of the time, I am an extrovert. But, sometimes I feel I need to be introverted... I am weird... A f#*k'n unicorn creature... 🤷‍♂

I've thought about this, and I realise that I'm a combination of all 4.

I'm D/S, on the center of D almost touching the center of the disc L.

I am a really strong S and C type. I have got more of S probably. I find this combination difficult to live with.

Focus on the strengths of both types. Many types they wish they were more S. Calmer, more centered, more chill, better at consistency, to name but a few. Embrace these gifts.

Countless of options available to you! Here are just a few examples: Engineer Analyst Scientist Developer Systems Administrator Data Scientist Investment Analyst Actuary Etc. Anything where you can use your detailed knowledge and brains to the best value.

I took 3 tests and one of them said I was both C and I and now I'm really confused 😕

Hi Riley, it's quite common to have a common to be a combination of 2 types. Here are a few things about CI: www.axiomsoftware.com/disc/interpretations/disc-interpretation-high-i-c.php Also, the quality of the test you take matters. The best paid one we've used is "Extended DISC". The best free one is from Tony Robbins www.tonyrobbins.com/disc/. Hope this helps
