That’s where he’s improved, everyone was saying he’s the best promo because he had really good ones and would smoke his opponent on the mic how the Rock would. Christian honestly even better than him at that but people love the new guy….a GREAT promo puts yourself over everyone but allows your opponent to seem super credible just not good enough to beat you….he’s improved so much on that in the last year or so it’s beautiful to watch

Honestly, Darby has grown on me A LOT. He already had an in ring style I enjoyed but I felt the promos were lacking sometimes, now it seems like he’s got it all down and i’m here for it. This match is going to be insane

Jungle Boy isn't revolutionizing anything. Good worker, but about as exciting as toast. Darby has IT and is the future along with MJF. If Sammy can stop acting up backstage, he could be something someday.

I never realized how important this is until I thought about ajpw's four pillars being in a fatal 4 way. Now I'm like damn. This 4 are true people who have been in the company since the start and have the brightest path on them. Them colliding Is gonna be a treat

This run for MJF has been lacklustre at best, but that’s not his fault. A good heel needs a good babyface. Every time I think AEW is creating one, they crush them 5 seconds later. Max is doing his job and all his matches make sense, but if they’re not burying Wardlow with bad booking, it’s Ricky Starks (where is he now?) or now Darby Allin. Max is right. No one is on his level because the booking hasn’t been good enough to push a babyface to that level. They had one, but the glorified jobbers that someone made executives wouldn’t allow it. I started watching wrestling when Stampede was a thing. I grew up on the Harts, ECW, WCW and prime WWF, back when wrestling was must see TV. AEW has a lot of potential, but they need a real wrestling Booker, not a fan who does fantasy booking. That’s going to ensure the ratings top out at around 800,000 viewers. That’s anemic. Worse, they only guarantee 800,000 if MJF is doing something. Otherwise, everyone switches to Netflix. The JAS are doing a great job of burying young talent on their own.

Watching MJFs climb to legendary status has been one of the best things about AEW in awhile. Cheers to another successful defense on Sunday.

The way MJF can destroy but also put over his fellow competitors in promo's is what makes him the best promo in wrestling right now. I do think if we ever get the chance to see him do a promo battle vs the miz, i would pay to see that

mjf sucks at promos all he does i use cheap heat and swear . and scream. hes trash. unfortunantly hes not gunna lose but he really needs to especially if he wants to be a bitch and try to use his contract as leverage. tony just needs to purge aew of mjf so nothing dumb happens. brian danielson should have beat mjf . and you already know that moxley and kenny omega can easily beat mjf

I mean, I could see MJF go toe-to-toe with any wrestling legend who was or is amazing on the mic. Miz, Piper, Rock, Enzo, Kingston, Jake Roberts, Dusty Rhodes, Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, Mick Foley, Bobby the Brain- The fact that we compare MJF to all those legends just goes to show how gifted he is. He talks like someone who is twice their age and has been in the industry since they were a teenager. He's the only wrestler I could see out talking anyone I listed above. First try? Maybe not. But it wouldn't take long, and that is fucking astounding.

Sammy is going to be the star of the match. Whoever wins doesn't matter to me, but Sammy is gonna steal the show without a doubt in my mind.

Darby's promo's have gotten so much better. MJF shouldn't be dropping the belt anytime soon, but if he does end up leaving AEW, dropping it to Darby in a 1v1 headliner is probably the way to do it, especially if Darby gets cheated or gets a mad false finish in the 4-way.

MJF would have been a great world champion if he ever works full time.

I expect either Sammy Guevara or Darby Allin to win the AEW World Champion, I could care less whether Jungle Boy wins it or MJF retains it at Double Or Nothing. Besides, they are all doing their outstanding jobs in AEW since Day 1 and one of them will walk out to be a world champion and be the best pillar in pro wrestling!

I know they needed to promote this match, but MJF's promo was THE perfect time for Wardlow to come out and confront him.

Which means that Cena could literally AA all 3 of these guys at once. And that is one of the most impressive (for Cena) and one of the saddest (for AEW) things I've ever heard.

I have a crazy feeling they were overestimating all 3 of their weights. None of the 3 look over 170 at least. Bret and Shawn were considered "smaller" but at least they're well-built and looked believable. TK really seems to like the skinny, not-so intimidating wrestlers.
