So I thought of writing a comment on your video. Been a losing trader, i started watching your videos couple of weeks ago, before that I was always a frustrated, angry guy when losing a trade the emotion reflected to my kid & wife. But now my losing trade is being more well managed ( smaller position size, less leverage, reduced trades in a day), my emotions more balanced. Maybe you changed someone's mindset. Keep the videos coming. IMAN means believe/faith in Islam. Coincidence!! Thank you

I relate well to this because I too have a 4.0 degree Magna Cum in social and organizational Psychology ...great info... This understanding of cognitive self-talk is mostly ignored by new traders and results in their eventual failure ... It is necessary for traders to learn to change the way we think and understand how to overcome basic cognitive distortions our mind will create. recognize how you react to your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Most successful traders take several years to master their reaction and analysis of the event by asking the question... is there actual evidence for my interpretation of the specific event? or, am I making decisions based on my feelings? Who is in control of your life and trading? Do you accept the responsibility for your thoughts, circumstances, and abilities? Or, do you try to place blame and find fault in the world and events around you? Is your destiny in your own hands? The success of your trading skills and abilities is up to YOU. Learn to recognize your brain's tendency toward emotional reasoning by feeling something so strongly we believe it to be true and factual. when in reality, it is not. This is a cognitive distortion we must learn to recognize and manage. If you fail here and never learn skills to think objectively and factually, you will never become a successful trader.

inconsistent logical reasoning is what happen to people who love learning using many strategies to approach the market and havent chose the one that just fit them and match the type of person they are , you become stuck as some point and the worst that can happen is you start making contradictory moves front of the same patterns on many occasion

1000 Thank yous for another fantastic video ! You have really a deep understanding of that all. Its really kafkaesque. "The Process" from Kafka describes it quite good. Its allways a process from theoretically understanding trading correctly to practically trading correctly. The only question is: are you in the right or wrong process? Are you on the right way(Tao) or not?...Trading is wartime. Not everyone wants to fight or learn that. Football or Soccer in my example is also fighting. Its war. In a virtual very practical way....

I like your videos, but I do have to say that the narrative these days of so called "gurus" that are trying to sell courses is largely becoming understanding psychology because if the system or whatever painted strategy they are trying to pitch doesn't work they can blame it on psychology because that's based on the individual and psychology is so complex and unique for every person that it's impossible to explain and understand. Also... they know that the market is over saturated with trading strategies that can be explained even to a 10 year old so they are moving more and more into psychology because that is what sells now. Now... If a system works then you don't really need anything but discipline and I believe that comes anyway if you stick in and don't give up. Go back 10, 20, 30 years...how many books on trading psychology can you find? I bet not many. But on technical analysis? Loads. Why? Because if a system works it works and that's it. Just my 2 cents.
