VERY well done! Tells our story most excellently indeed! I'm a life member of PCS, but being from out West of where God invented dirt, have seldom made it to a National Meet. For the first time in many years my Volunteer Foundation work has me in the Philadelphia area this week trying to solve some Firefighting & EMS problems in part of Maryland, so am planning on going to York sometime this week and also stopping by the SPAMFAA meet there as well, since I've been a Life Member of that fine group, as well. Blame Walt McCall & Tom McPherson for talking me into it. Of the Meets I have been able to attend in years long past I made some great friendships with some fantastic people, unfortunately now long gone. Hoping and EXPECTING to make many new friendships this upcoming visit. I long ago learned both Organizations are made up of really great people. I'm sneaking up on 80, my Ambulance and Funeral work dates back to the Packard era, but rocking chairs kill people, so am STILL working! Don't plan to ever retire, as such.. STILL having too much fun Volunteering with Fire, EMS and Funeral Service work! If we've not met somewhere yet, hope to see you all there. I'm the guy wearing a cowboy hat to keep the Sun off! Glen W. "Bob" Dietz Safety Equipment Corporation, since 1963. Now a 501-(c)-(3) Fire, Rescue, EMS, Public Safety & Professional Service Industry Charity to assist Under-Equipped, Poorly funded and Challenged Groups in the USA & Beyond.

I was 17 when I joined the EMS…..this rings so true to me! Our rugs were usually Superior, both Cadillac and Pontiac.

The best ambulances our Fire agency had were 1954 Packard-Henney' with dual carb, inline eights. Later they purchase 6 Stoner-Western GMC suburban conversions.. Those too were well built and tough.

Like this video. This feeds my appetite to get my 1977 Chrysler Town&Country hearse that I just acquired a year ago, form my friends daughter who didn't know what to do with it. He passed away a year ago to this date. He was going to creep the car out. I am glad he didn't do that! I kind of frown on people who do this to a hearse. I hope when I am finished it will look like the day a person takes that last ride. By the way when I seen the demolition derby part of this video, had a man ask about my hearse. He wanted it for a up coming derby. I just had to laugh, and replied haven't you guys destroyed enough classic vehicles! He walk away mad saying looks like your not doing anything with it! It's definitely a keeper I have never seen a Chrysler hearse, haven't seen one on line or in photographs. Have you ever seen one? If you have I won't feel left out. Well anyway good job on this video it was very educational.

Left handed Widget for the front door????? That sounds like a hardcore car guy. Saving a funeral coach as a collector car, sounds like the TV show car flipper Richard Rawlings at work.
