I am a hiker, and I have been so lucky to have some wonderful trails near me in Michigan. This narrative is so perfect! I have often wished that I had a cabin located in a forest like this, and my dream has (almost!) come true here. Thank you, Michelle!

I love this-- I often wish for this as well. The only reason I've yet to buy a cabin or cottage is I can't decide where to settle. So I turned to these stories in the meantime.

I always look forward to Sundays because you're dropping another meditation. My favorites are the long ones the three or four hour ones. I listen to them over and over and over all week. I was wondering if you can do a meditation story about going on a cruise. I've never been on a cruise and I had a stroke so there's just no way I would be able to handle the movement of the boat but I would love to have a meditation story about a cruise. Thanks for everything you do

@@MichellesSanctuary I've always thought you do a fantastic job. With both hair and make up, too, you really know how to bring out your best. Sometimes a little something is all you need. My one friend's mom actually had her shadow and liner tattooed on to save her time, that's always an option 😛 More on topic, thanks for always being so vigorous in updating this channel. I showed it to my mom years ago along with some other channels, and she always loved your sleep stories in particular. Thank you so much for helping her get some of the rest and relaxation she so desperately needs in this chaotic world ❤❤❤

Many places I've written about are places that I have visited. This is someplace I haven't been but it was requested by a listener who emailed me early this year and described what he would like to experience.

I have different memories about camping back when I was a Boy Scout. One was moss grows on the north side of trees which I later learned was wrong. The stuff grows where it wants. I loved breakfast of cooking pork roll on a fire. What leaves you can use as toilet paper and if you get lost to stay put. Also mark trees with an x so you can find your way back. None of these things helped when after a romantic ending a friend of mine took me to a large park for a walk about. He was a good navigator at least through the streets of Manhattan but once into the woods of hacklberry state park we were lost. Obviously we found our way out probably because I kept telling him if we can’t get out of here I’m going to murder you and use you as food. We also met a native who told us how to find the parking lot. So I trusted your narrative in the second party to prevent me from being hopelessly lost in the jungles of Canada between the labs and newfies. I’ll revisit it this afternoon I need a nap only got three hours of sleep.

3 hours? I certainly hope you got that nap. I feel I've been lost on highways but not entirely in the woods. Having a dog always helps with direction. I'm pretty sure even at his senior age this dog of mine is a great navigator.

None of my dogs could read maps or had navigation software. They marked terrain but if I said “Lassie” take me home they’d promptly chase a bird or dig a hole but no go home. I imagine you wouldn’t get too worked up getting lost anyway. I get lost often frankly I don’t know where I am right now. Oh, the kitchen got it. Yes I did nap, I think in the kitchen actually. 😊

Peaceful and nice visuals. A bit of cultural interest though, they are not 'aborigines'. They are aboriginal or indigenous or First Nations. Aborigines are Australian indigenous people. Otherwise enjoyable. Thank you.
