Horizon House, located in San Bernardino, Paraguay, is an architectural marvel designed to enhance the breathtaking views of its rugged surroundings. The home features a unique design of two parallel horizontal concrete slabs supported by four columns, forming a strict grid of 9 modifiable modules centered around a fixed kitchen. This flexible layout allows spaces to transform based on the moment's needs, while vertical planes provide the option to open or close the house to the outside environment. Inspired by the traditional Paraguayan "jeré corridor," the house includes a green roof for thermal insulation and a lookout to maximize the stunning views. Constructed to minimally impact the land, the house appears to float above the ground, preserving the natural topography and democratizing the horizon view for all to admire.
