I am struck with some of the negative comments....... I live in rural Kansas, and several acres is very possible. Have a look at the modest details of this beautiful home: concrete floors, repurposed old brick, gravel as a patio, 9-10' ceilings rather than 20' cathedral, no expensive window coverings (thanks to the isolation of a few acres), minimal kitchen, no clutter which often means spending money on "stuff." And the house is built to take advantage of the benefits of passive solar gain. Yes. I am one of the privileged that enjoys "first world" living. This is where I was born, and I know I am fortunate. But let's not browbeat each other for choosing to create beauty around us. Let's learn from each other. This video is a generous way of sharing what is possible.
I could listen and watch this all day everyday. I really admire what you've created.
This woman has the most beautiful voice. The home is lovely. But listening to her speak was pure magic. The world is a better place with her in it. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
L❤VE L❤VE L❤VE this beautiful home inside and outside created with so much thought and practicality.👏💚
for the moment i can only dream to have a house like yours in a place such as beautiful, amazing
Beautifully written and communicated ❤️✨💫Lovely home. I am just inspired. Thank you!
Absolutely stunning, to me it is a masterpiece and beautiful ❤ congratulations and what an awesome spot for your kids to grow up
I love this house! Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful home. Love the great room.
Im so in love with your project
It’s beautiful. Absolutely nourishing in its aesthetic and the land it’s on is a sanctuary. I don’t think the lithium in the batteries is the environmental silver bullet people think it is or would like it to be but that’s another discussion for another day. The house is a triumph.
Nice house design. Thanks for the upload.
Love all the Windows
Love your home and ethos.
There is a beautiful serenity and calmness in this house. Would be interested to know in todays increased materials costing, approx. build cost. Of course on top of that is engineering specs / local council fees / land costs etc. But the general concept/build $/m2 would be interesting.
Gorgeous home
I love concept. Not agreed with a lot of details in the house, and implementation, it could be much more smooth. But, it matter of taste, and most important thing that owner love and enjoying final result. Congrats!
Beautiful home
I love this house, I can easily live here with my family. Stunning!!!
Gorgeous home and I love your lifestyle. Would you be comfortable to share the house plans. Also did you build through a company or owner builder? X
I would really love to see the construction process
Brilliant home

Oh Wow
Love it! We're planning on building something similar so this is really inspiring! Would you be able to tell us which company you used for the big glass doors?

Love this house, but what if all your land views are facing west??!!!

I like the house, but less the video showing it.
"you can build any home on any budget" is the most laughable thing I've ever heard.

You can build a beaver home like this on any budget. You could theoretically build a 2 bedroom beaver for less than $100k.
Narrator terrible. Background music too loud. Skipped
