I was a DJ some 40-odd years ago. Was rather surprised my son, a DJ in Cape Town, played this in the club where he worked, in 2015!

This song is a throwback, you could see the transition of 70s disco to 80s pop, it’s kinda of a hybrid of two eras .

I am 76 and I agree with you.

I remember this playing in the clubs back before table service and all the nonsense. When guys would ask girls to dance and sweat it up on the dance floor all night…. No social media, no selfies, no texting. We were 100% in the moment at the club. And the fire when you met someone you clicked with and danced all night was soooo much better than today’s world of just showing off on a table with bottles. And I can compare as I’ve done both
