I've been looking for a different way of joining granny squares when I saw your video. Yours is perfect! I love it! A new subscriber here.

I have 3 blankets behind me! Roz, I subbed last week after getting frustrated with paper patterns. I am quitting smoking. I have an anxiety disorder. I didn't think I liked this until I followed your tutorials. Yesterday was a horrid day. My uncle was killed in a horrific car accident and I was a mess... Nothing to do with my hands... Until I grab my fave bundles and sit down. It kept me calm to make squares all night. And I'll use the squares to make a blanket for his wife, my aunt. Bless you.

My grandmother taught me to make granny squares 25 years ago but she never really taught me a good way to join them. Now I have made squares for an afghan for my daughter and you have enabled me to make it special. Thank you so much!

I've put the project aside for that reason but THIS looks more like what I'd like! I'm new to crochet and this looks easier for me since I'm having trouble counting and starting in the right place. It seems like mother in law’s often get a bad rap. But, I was super lucky that mine was my friend.
